WHAT DID JESUS TELL US TO BUILD OUR LIFE ON?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
The things that Jesus taught us are the basic principals our citizenship in Heaven, and the relationship that we both have through Christ and can develop as a child of God with the Father. I think at one time or another we have all thought about what Heaven will be for us. In many ways I tend to think that we each one will have our own kind of reality about that place with God that is so personal and yet also so much a part of the whole of His Kingdom.

Our loyalty and love for God must also be built up of those things we have grown to love and hold closest to our hearts, and yet somehow we must all be grounded within the direct will of the Holy Father in our existence. While I believe just as Jesus indicated in Matthew 7: 21-29 that there will be many who will disappointed on that day because they will find out that they could not serve God with only a half-hearted effort, or with merely saying that they believe without actually showing fruit of that belief. It also believe that there will be those who may have not built up a huge mansion with the things they have adopted into their beliefs that will find that most simple of structures will be the most solid and pleasing of all they could ever desire. I know that if I build upon the facts of Jesus testimony and life as He spoke to me here in this scripture I will have used the kinds of materials in my life that will endure the tests that are to come in my life.
The question is then " On what foundation are we building our life in Christ?" Are we building with that which we can easily find that is laying loose all around us? Are we allowing others to provide the materials we are studying and taking for granted as the truth ; or are we searching for our selves to find out what the truth is? Jesus tells us that the firm foundation is built upon the rock of what Jesus has already established as the truth so what more do we need to know? We have been told that the tests will come when what we have been building will be put to a test to see just what the quality of what we have built is. The foundations that have been laid down for us will stand no matter what we build, but unless we are careful we may well loose the grand mansion that we think we own in the Kingdom of God by using inferior materials. We must build properly, and we must produce good fruit of His Spirit. If we do that we are promised more than we could ever think or imagine...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
