WE WILL SOON FIND OUT WHO WE ARE
Greetings in the nae of Jesus:
It is way past time that we all began to speak from our hearts about the events that God's Spirit has been showing us over the last year. Apart from the facts that demonstrate that a great number of our own government officials are extremely corrupt, our world is beginning to fall very much in line with the spiritual predictions given to us by God's word. Our part to be played out in all of what we see around us has also changed to a great degree.
What I really mean by that is that we no longer have the same places to hide within the social structures that we once did. The big church bodies that we always have used to melt into and become invisible are starting to take some heat, and they may become among the first areas that will be targeted by a world that is hell bent on persecuting Christians. One way or another God will force us all to take a stand either for Him or be against Him, and that makes anywhere within this world a very uncomfortable place to be in. God's Spirit has been very patiently poking at us to try to get us to make a move toward God all this time, but we have not done so...in fact if anything we have been showing less faith than we had before. I must admit that there are a few who are beginning to awaken, but not nearly as many as have claimed to be sold out for Christ Jesus verbally. What we are seeing is a division between those people who always said they believed and those who are taking a physical stand for Christ in life.
I have to say that the results are staggering between those who have chosen to go their own way, or to find a place where they can hide their anger , frustration, and lack of forgiveness in a huge crowd of people and those who have intended to simply roll up their sleeves and get to work. At our small ministry at the Gathering we have been finding it does not take a lot of people to do God's will, but it does take all of them. Those whom God has called to stick this out with us are being blessed beyond measure; and they are being attacked by the enemy beyond belief. I think that it is only the beginning of our home stretch in running that race to it's completion. I don't know where it is that you fall in this series of thoughts, but I am pretty sure that over the next year we will all find ourselves on one side or the other in our declarations of faith...Are you for God or are you for this world? May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
