REACHING DOWN AND PULLING PEOPLE OUT
Greetings in Jesus:
I really don't know why , but I have the feeling that there has been a permanent shift in the psychological outlook of this world going from what is good and positive to things that are becoming more dark and negative over the last year. While I know that this has been predicted by Christ as being a part of the later days before He comes it is hard for me to see the doors slowly closing on those who have refused to make a decision for Christ, and for those who have decided to play that deadly game of wait and see.
In my own life there are only so many that God will allow me to reach. I can also feel a dwindling in the church attendance, and that was small to begin with. The world around us is closing down on all things that have light and truth within them, and it feels as though we are loosing the battles for souls all around us from people who have determined they want what they want for self more so than they want Christ.
That is hard for me to see and yet I am also excited in a way about it because it signals the shortness of time left before Christ returns. I am able to rejoice because I know that this will only last for a short time before there is intervention by the Father. It always seems to be the way God likes to work; in that when the enemy thinks it has won the battle God comes in at the darkest hour to pull away the complete victory from evil. That thought makes me smile in my heart, and it gives me complete confidence that we are doing the right things. We may well have a small group of believers in the Gathering, but we will be speaking and teaching the truth. If people no longer want to hear the truth then I suppose they will stay away or go some where that will tickle their ears with a message that makes them feel better about themselves...I very much think that it what we are seeing happen.
I believe our missionaries are having more success in the fields of service in foreign countries than we are right now in the USA because those who have not made a commitment to Christ are beginning to become afraid, and they are staying away. I have often asked this of those of you who come here to read this blog, but where do you stand right now in the mix? I pray for each of you everyday that you might be able to have the courage in Christ to stand no matter what the circumstances are. I pray even more for my brothers and sisters her ein this country to take that stand with me to fight for Christ Jesus and our rights to love and serve Him in this country. It has become a dark hour in this country if we completely abandon God...and even more so for those who remain faithful in Christ...it may become very dark indeed. My dear ones as long as there is life in me there will always be the encouragement of Christ coming from me to you. Stand with me in this hour of need....may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
