THE WORLD AROUND US
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I always take it as a sign that something is up spiritually when I begin to have problems posting blogs. That is especially true when I can't suddenly get something posted on Face book or get it to those of you who need to hear it.
This morning when posting the blog I ran into some real opposition from the enemy by freezing up any chance I had to get the blog out to you. I am praying that God will allow me to release this message if I cannot get the other one out. No matter...the truth is that we are facing some real issues within the world we live in today. The Christian is having to stand and give an account this very time for his or her beliefs in Jesus Christ and is paying for that testimony with their very life. This is not something that we can ignore until it comes to our own front door and knocks that door down. We must make a choice as to who this day we will serve.
We have long heard of those who have been martyrs in foreign lands for their faith in Christ, and we have continued to keep it well hidden away from our daily lives. It is funny to me how people can do that...just ignore what others are suffering through as long as it does not effect their own lives; but then I guess that is more human nature than I realize. The prey always seems to react the same...well it didn't happen to me so I will just go my merry way, and forget about it. The fact is there would be a lot less prey if we were to stand together against a common enemy.
Today is a new chance for us to care about what happens not just to us but to those around this world who are being murdered. Let's make no mistake about it this enemy will not satisfy it's thirst for blood until the entire world is under their control. That control spells pure hell on earth for those who follow the truth of Jesus Christ. There is no compromise with such people, and there is no truce between the minds and hearts of those who want their own death as much as we want our own life. This threat is all or nothing, and it is not being forced on to us by God, but by this world. We have long known that when the times came that it would be the Islamic faction of Jihad that would be at the center of Satan's army. It has been predicted that many will die at the hands of these people...and I don't even think they know what they are doing personally. They are blind to the truth and love of God because they have allowed themselves to be filled with lies and hate.
Our response is to become drawn together and to trust God for our protection. We must do as the first church did and begin to rely upon one another for security and power to survive. It will not be a matter of going to war against these factions of people, but standing in the face and the threat of death to give our testimony in Christ. I am more convinced than ever before that we live in the final days before Christ comes. Will He come and take us out before it gets really bad? I don't know, and I certainly do not count on that happening because He needs to know who among us is true and who among us is playing the game of church? Our life is precious to us...the most precious thing that we have. Jesus gave His life up for you...are you willing to put your on the line for Him? My dear ones it is time to prepare our hearts...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
