ENCOURAGEMENT
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
Colossians 1:11-14 " We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious power so that you will have all the endurance an patience you need. May you be filled with joy always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance belongs to His people, who live in the light. For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness, and has transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins".
What a knowledge to have in that God has done of of this for us, but even more we should be showing these things to one another through encouragement. Many times we may feel as though we are like Gideon's army where there were only 300 against an army of thousands. We must remember that any number against us is in the minority when we have God on our side. It is so easy to think negatively in this life and that is the reason we come up against such problems...as Jesus said to us in Mark 7:20-23 " it is what comes from the inside that defiles you...all these vile things come from within; they are what defiles you".
Recently Robin Williams was found dead from hanging himself...no matter how he looked on the outside he was hurting on the inside; it was the inside that defiled him and made him take his life. Such a good man in almost every way that we count good as being and yet he lost a battle within him for life. Everyday of our lives we face the same kinds of demons that are in this world...roaming over this earth seeking whom they may devour, and we must be to one another that beacon of light that shows the way back from these dark corners we find ourselves in.
There isn't any kind of list that we can use for this life that will guarantee us a free and happy life other than the direct word from God to us, and in many cases the only direct word that people get from God is through us as Christians We need to be that encouragement to one another every day...we need to find within our hearts a reason to encourage and love one another. Just as it tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:9 " No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind can imagine what God has prepared for those who love Him." Let's be to one another what we have been intended to be in Christ Jesus, and I think we will see a great change within our churches power and credability in this world. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
