HOW WOULD YOU RESPOND?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
There are so many people today who are troubled by what the Bible has to say to them about their life. Let me ask you a few questions...and yes I would like to get a response from you in these if you would...
Are people you know more troubled about the ethical aspects of the Bible or the historical aspects? Why do you think that is?
Many people say the Gospel accounts are written where He claims to be Divine, the miracles He performed, His death burial and resurrection were all written much later by the church leaders who were trying to consolidate their power and build their movements, so they suppressed the real evidence that Jesus was just a human teacher....How would you respond to that?
These are a couple of the things that I would like for you my dear ones in Christ to respond to. I will also respond to your answers to these, and I will try to give you some insight as I pray over a response from the Holy Spirit. I think you may find there are mostly people who don't like the idea of God pointing out their sins...or for that matter what sin really is. I can remember in the days when I was fighting against God I would be the most upset when I opened the Bible to find a direct accusation to my sin written in a few lines of scripture that were undeniably written just for me. It become a major matter of humbling ourselves before the power of God to tell us we are wrong and to get our lives together.
The reason that God is in charge of it all is because He is all powerful, and perfect in His ways. We can mumble about that, but we cannot change it. We have all seen too many times what happens when we take the control out of God's hands to do our own thing...it is not very pretty. The fact of the matter is this...if someone feels that the word is false then let them prove it to you instead of you proving it to them, see where that leads. There have been many who have said there was no God who began that task and were convicted and converted to Christ from their efforts...Praise God!
I have never claimed to have all of the answers but I do claim to be very close to someone who does have all the answers; that would be my Heavenly Father. I really want to get us all talking about these things so that we can see that we are not alone in our quests to follow Christ. We need to have some encouragement in one another so as you go to the blog start to look at the comment sections as well, and get involved with one another in Christ Jesus.
I love you all very much in Christ ...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
