HOW RICH ARE YOU?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
In America in particular it is easy to find wealth, and it is easy to find people who don't realize just how wealthy they are in comparison to the rest of this world. In Luke 16:19-31 we find the parable of the" Rich man and Lazarus " which to me spells out the process of apathy that this country suffers from right now.
The Church in general has seen much growth in the tendency to turn their heads and look the other way when it comes to caring about others...and that means even their own people within their own churches. There is so much negative running through our society today that people in general are starting to simply ignore it. Who am I "Joe Blows Keeper?" The answer is YES you are...and you will be judged according to your intent of Heart toward loving others as well.
The time has come and is well past for us to begin to wake up and realize the troubles that have been caused by simply not caring about anyone except ourselves. We have not realized that money and power and freedoms also corrupt us into a people that become very much like that rich man who saw Lazarus on his door step everyday, and still ignored him. In many cases being rich divorces us from having emotions toward others. We tend to feel that all of us are in the same boat, and that everyone we meet is pretty much like us economically, but that isn't the truth at all. There are many around us today who are struggling below the poverty lines in this country, and even those people are well above the world average for income when they are compared to this world. I have often said that the American people are in a bubble in this world that does not tell us the real truth about life. Being rich in this world is one of those truths that people here do not get a real look at. We have been protected in a kind of bubble rap situation where we can only see those who are immediately around us. It is the truth in our Churches, our homes, and with us as individuals, but that protection is starting to come off from around us because everyday we are being forced to see the real world of hate and terror that the rest of this world is very familiar with.
Our reaction to what we are beginning to see is to be horrified, and try to hide from the truth, and yet God is showing all of us the truth for a very good reason. He wants for us all to see the real truth about the evil that exists within this world as He starts to bring it all to a close. I believe the time will come when we will also be exposed to the horror of what the real world is all about. Fortunately we will also find out what our real God is all about as well. This world will come to a close...a halt that will happen within a very short period of time when it starts. I am not talking about the Rapture, but the ending of days as we have studied it. I believe that we will all see persecution...although I don't know how much. I believe we will all taste death at the hands of the enemy of God, and I am sure that we will see these things come into this country just like it has in the rest of the civilized world around us. Unless we change things and quickly in this country we will see it before another election takes place. The days have already come where we as a country are no longer supporting God's chosen people for their own freedom, so it is just another indicator of how close the end is for us. Let me just ask you...How rich are you?
