THE COST OF NOT FEARING GOD

 The very moment I begin to think that there simply cannot be anything new under the sun for mankind to uncover someone is proving what was a complete fantasy only last year to now become a workable theory in our own reality.  Of course, this "Blows my own mind" but at the same time begins to unleash different theories that I have had about the many unbelievable miracles that God has shown us throughout time.  We have long argued that God could do anything within the program that He has created we call reality. The floods that destroyed the world, the splitting of the Red Sea for the Isreal Nation, and the many miracles that were done by God's Son Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit are all very easily explained by that simple creation reasoning,  In fact the more mankind tries to explain away the fact that there is indeed a God behind all things the more they prove the intelligent design of God's mind and Spirit behind what we see around us.  Of course, we who are caught within that reality cannot hope to see beyond that creation or understand it's true purposes.

  None of the theories named can explain the full effects of God's plan in having created life as we know it without understanding the basic reasons that He has already made clear; those reasons reflect His desire for companionship and for love.  In our own estimations, we can only go back several thousand years in history, and yet God has already given us a hint that a thousand years are as a day to eternity; and with those thoughts in mind, our creation could be as only a couple of weeks for Him.

  With something like that put into our minds it could put a completely new perspective on life as we know it and the purposes for which God has made us.  We tend to constantly strive to better our position in reality without understanding what reality is. No matter what the truth is in the final scene of what and how we are in this place the power and control of who God is to us have not changed for He is still God and we are still His creation.  I heard a message not long ago on the" Fear of God "that basically stated without having a healthy fear of God we cannot be happy within ourselves.  The fact remains that unless we are rooted in an understanding of who we are, and who God is to us we can never love or be content in our own lives.  We are built to learn and to grow, and the more we learn the more we realize that we don't really know.  While we would like to think we are doing this development on our own I rather doubt that is true.  The more I see this coming about the more I realize it is coming to us as it is released to our minds to think and play with various mechanics of life.  I don't really think that we have gotten any smarter than we have ever been, but that the truth is revealed to us as God desires us to find it. I can no longer believe in things just being an accident when it comes to things taking place in this world for no reason. Some of the disasters that happen in this world do not seem fair to me, but then I don't know all of the reasons for what takes place either, but it does help me to understand that there is a plan that is being worked out for the benefit of every one of us; and that plan is for our ultimate salvation if we abide by the rules that God has set down for us to follow.  For a few of us, there is knowledge to what those rules are, and that they go through Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice for sin.  God has taken away the barrier of the power of sin and death from our lives by following that plan of salvation, but not everyone will listen.

  It is my prayer that this year will become our greatest year ever for reaching those who have searched so long and hard to find God's truth.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
