FOCUSING ON THE CREATION AND THE CREATOR
Greetings in Jesus:
We are not nearly as smart or powerful as we think we are when it comes to bearing the responsibility to control what we think or do about this world. I believe that ship sailed long before we ever were here and now we are along for the ride for only one purpose; and that purpose is to make a decision about what we will to believe about what God has told us was going to happen and what we need to do guarantee our eternal future.
There is so much confusion about salvation and what hoops we must jump through in order to be in God's favor, but the first one is to believe with our whole heart what He has told us is true. Those of us who remain in our right mind from all of the brain washing from this world on everything from personal appearance to what it means to become successful in life need to take the time to think about what God has said, and then compare it to the reality that we see developing all around us everyday.
The truth that we will find in that simple comparison should scare any sane person to death! The truth that comes out for me every time is that we are being lied to on almost every front in some way, but instead of becoming paralyzed and afraid we are the ones who need so desperately to stand and begin to dig for the truthful answers to questions that really make a difference to our lives. These things that we have been told range from very wide, broad topics to the very small details of who we are as a nation and a single individual. It all starts by reviewing everything we have learn ed from the beginning by comparing it to God's word. What we will see from the beginning is a marked difference in what truth is to God and what it is to the sources we have listened to all of our lives. I have somewhat of an advantage in this comparison because I have lived through the very start of the information age; from a time before television's existence or the influence of the media and advertisement that we see surrounding us today. Most of us cannot relate to what such a life would be like without escaping to a wooded area without any phones or electronic contact.
That comparison is crucial in our ability to find what is truth from lie, and the more we learn about the world of computers and the abilities we have to create worlds and environments to entertain ourselves with the more we can see how easy it is on certain levels to manipulate that created environment, and do what ever we want to do no matter how outlandish it may be. We need to realize the truth has always been right in front of us with regard to God's word to us, and that as we compare this truth to the possibilities we are only beginning to discover that can be created to the truth of what God is telling us has already happened and will happen we must come to that final decision of belief in that word. After that it is a matter of the choice we make about truth as compared to the lie we have been emersed in. The decision is yours personally, but as for me and my house ; we will serve the Lord! May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
