THE PRACTICAL LESSONS OF ATITUDE

Our lives and the future of our country depends upon how well we as neighbors and countrymen communicate with one another within this coming year. What I am seeing is a future where we are generally not going to be in control of even the smallest aspects of our lives without an approval of some type of overlord.  The rule of Satanic law will be based on the continued distribution of all wealth in equal shares to all of the world, and in short-term that sounds like a solution to a world crisis, but in reality, it is the beginning of a new world order which puts power in charge of resources and separates even further the haves from the have-nots in this world.

  It is this kind of event that we need to be watching for and discussing openly with one another because without that there will be those who will cut deals behind closed doors and by any means necessary through lies, deceit, or murder to make sure they maintain their power and control.  Today we are seeing this mentality at work in our country without the attempts to hide it.  We must be able to see that sin is no longer even trying to hide its intent to steal away any purity from the minds of our children.  I noticed at a family Christmas party recently how the smallest children are gleefully singing songs about relationships begin destroyed by lying and cheating.  In one song my small granddaughters were singing a song about cutting the seats of someone's car, bashing in the windows, and scratching their names in the paint of a pretty little four-wheel-drive.." Maybe he'll stop and think next time he cheats"!  The attitudes and lessons taught and learned have nothing to do with love; but rather payback.

  This has become a stark reality change for the Christian community in that the harsh result of it all continues to be brought into the church as we continue to adopt the principals of this world around us into the message we are sharing from Christ.  The thought of having the good of this world literally stamped out by evil with no hope of redemption is the worst thing I can think of and yet I know that this is exactly what must take place for the greatest part for God's Plan of Salvation to be completed.

  We can easily see how God has repeated this process over and over again as both prophecy and history of the way He works with mankind.  The truth is that God loves nothing greater than to snatch victory from the arms of evil at the last second.  With everything that I have watched God do within the ministry of Christ and with all of the victories that He has given His people the one thing, I have noted most of all has been the fact that things looked impossible until the last second before God stepped in to create complete victory out of what looked hopeless.  I still believe that is the way God works today because it has always been God last second salvation in my life that has brought me through.  Practically speaking we as Christians have demonstrated very little faith in God in our lives, and Christ has had to point that out on several occasions.  It makes me really wonder how many of us as followers of Christ understand the mind of Christ when it comes to  His promises made to us.

  Most of the time we don't have that loyalty or trust in Christ that we need to have for Him to be able to show us the real riches from Heaven that He so desires to give to us even in this life and time.I often think about this in terms of how my little dog gives me loyalty and trust even though she does not understand everything I do to protect her and love her.  That job would be so much harder without any kind of love received from her in return.  Perhaps we should think about things like that more often.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
