CHRISTMAS IS COMING

No natter how hard we try to hold on to things in our life time has a way of passing us by at some point.  This year I have had  an extra difficult time getting into a Holiday spirit, and it is mainly because of all of the discourse we have had as a nation.  Like it or not there will be a time when all that we have always held dear will begin to slip away from us.  The memories of a certain sentiment about the Christmases of the past will eventually fade from time spent away from practicing the traditions we have always known.  Even such things as peace on earth good will toward men will fade if it is not carried within the hearts of all individuals on a daily basis because it isn't a sentiment so much as it is a life style.

  Our hearts and minds are governed by the things we allow to take rule of our lives, and if we listen too long to the complaining and griping of this world we will soon find that attitude is all we can hear in our mind.  If we allow that to take place I can assure you that America will not last another generation before we as a country and an ideal fall apart.

  I have often been reminded in one way or another that America is not found in the bible as a country, but instead it has become an ideal called Babylon which is less than a shining example of purity to this world and more of a hoer of the worldly goods it clings to and places it's hopes in.  The truth is that Christmas is coming and for many of us  our hearts are not ready for it!  In a way that thought continues to echo through my mind along with the thought that God will do what He needs to do to prepare the end results for His plan of salvation for those who love Him.  In order to do that we may find much of the comfort that we once started with in this life will be no more, but then we were never meant to be here forever either.

 Among the new things that we will undoubtedly be facing in this life we have the chance to hold close to us those things that really have made a huge difference to us as well. For me it is that warm sense of family and dear friends within our hearts, and the thoughts of the most perfect kinds of sharing that we could have with them.  The memories of those past events or the dreams of things that we are willing to share at a time in the future when we no longer have to worry about time space and limited resources to share.  When I think of all of you I hold you closely to my heart and carry you with me in a picture perfect scene of Christmas that will never  end but will be celebrated every moment of every day for all eternity.  It is above all else the gifts of love that we can give to one another in a never ending supply, for by giving that love we only increase that which we have to give.

  There can be nothing greater than to think of each one of you sharing my vision by a warm fireplace and a hot cider as we sing love songs to Jesus, and remember His love for us...even better He will will be physically in our midst sharing  the laughter and joy.  I will enjoy cuddling in the arms of my dear ones and friends as we stay safe from the cold and dangers of this world together.  I am sending out love and thoughts of each one of you as I write today in hope that you will remember what it takes this year to reignite the warmth of Christ's birth through our love and unity.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him'
