THE SECOND BEAST IS OUR OWN WISDOM
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
If we think about it much we can come up with many different ways that we as men and women have created some very innovative things with the materials that God has already created for us to use here. Along with the inventions, we have come up with have been some very dark and greedy efforts to make a lot of riches by keeping certain things out of the general public arena. In other words, because of the greed of a few people who have th control and power to do so I believe that many of the diseases that we suffer from today already have either great relief or in some cases a complete cure right now, but they are kept hidden and off of the market for the general public. This is a form of living under the letter of the law that is spoken of in Romans 7:7-14.
This has nothing to do with trying to live the letter of God's natural law; or even in dealing with things from a spiritual basis, but rather living under a natural law that mankind has created for itself.
This is the law of The strong survive, and the weak die; the concept of predator and prey; of being the strongest and the smartest, of having all of the toys, and all of the power and money and being in complete control! All of this is the law that brings with it death and sin against a God who has done nothing but to show us a favor.
Each one of these roaring beasts that are now wandering about to find the next victim is tied closely together. Each of these is a part of who we are as we live out our time in this bowl of soup called sin. We are tied to this plane of existence which has only one escape clause...death.
We can try to hide from some of this with denial and cover-up of the truth, but we cannot hide from ourselves. This is the same effect that Jesus teachings had on those who were in the leadership of the Synagogues during His ministry. When denying the truth would not make it go away, and when the efforts made to discredit Jesus as a teacher of the truth did not work, and the memories of His words stayed in their heart and minds until they could no longer find peace or rest; they sought to murder Him. We are still seeking to do whatever we can today to lessen the effect that this same truth has on our lives.
Which of these things has attempted to devour you in this last year? There is a way of dealing with this kind of enemy to us spiritually but it takes a radical change in the ways we conduct our lives. We will discuss this change in the next edition of the blog.
