WISDOM AVOIDING THE PITFALLS
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
Why is it wise to avoid the basic instincts of this life? Because they lead us away from spiritual perfection, and away from the truth about our created purpose; which is eternal life. The facts are relatively simple. We are created to give companionship to God as His family, and to live with Him inside His Kingdom, but the truth is that the original plan has been sidetracked somewhat by the fact that we have not been loyal to His purpose within us. We have been tempted and have fallen into sin, which in turn has separated us from God.
Now we may choose to argue the point of who is to blame for that original downfall from God's grace and yet we are all under the same result of sin, which is death. This has caused God to have to rethink His original plan and now require a form of confirmation from us that we can be viewed as trustworthy in what we profess as our love for Him and the true intention of our hearts in our relationship with Him. In fact, this whole problem of our faithfulness is now in question because God refuses to allow sin into His Kingdom. This quite frankly is one of the reasons that the Father seeks to find out who among us really wants a relationship with Him by asking us to make a trade of the base things that this world offers us temporarily in exchange for what God offers us eternally.
The truth is that if we really do want God as a part of who we are we must seek after Him in this life; which is much different than His attitude was toward us before Christ was sent for our salvation and the establishment of the New Covenant. You see God has already done all that He will do for us in offering us salvation through Jesus Christ. That free gift will only be offered to us one time, and then it becomes our duty to seek after it and then live out that offer from God to us. So what is it that God asking us to exchange for the many blessings that He offers us? God basically is asking us to stay away from the things that He knows that will hurt us and lead us away from a relationship with Him.

Romans 11:33-36 refers to wisdom with its riches and knowledge of God being unsearchable and past being able to find out. It asks the question "Who has known the mind of God or who has been His counselor; who has given Him wisdom or to whom does God owe anything at all?" We are His crowning glory as a creation, and yet we still desperately need His help and approval in each step of our existence. It is my prayer that you will continue to seek after the Father. May you richly bless God through your life in Him
