A PRAYER FROM THE HEART
GOOD MORNING FATHER:
Dear Lord I come to you this morning that your will would be done in the lives of each person who comes by to visit this site today. I pray that you would provide all that each of us needs so that we could put our whole concentration upon serving you and doing your will in this life; but I know of so many who are hurting right now because they refuse to relinquish control to you. Father I ask that you would soften the hearts of those of us who who feel they have to do battle with this world alone right now, and help us to realize the strength that you have given us when we are of one mind and heart.
I pray that we would begin to see the outpouring of your power in a special way beginning right now, and we thank you for all that you have already given to us. Help us to begin to understand and feel your presence in our everyday lives in such a way that we cannot help but be a light of your love and truth to those around us. Father we can feel the tide of public opinion is rapidly turning against anyone who loves and honors you in this world. We are aware of thousands who have already given their lives for the witness to Jesus in their lives, and we know that this trend will only get worse as evil is unleashed here among us for a time. Help us to be strong in our faith even when we cannot see conformation of our Faith at work in our lives at times. Dear Lord we need one another in this life to do your will and to stay strong so help us not to forsake the chances for us to assemble and praise your name or read your word in earshot of someone who may otherwise never be exposed to you.
In our ministry efforts Father help us to finally give you complete control of all aspects of what your Holy Spirit is directing us to do. Help us to listen intently to your words of love and wisdom as we step out into unfamiliar territory, and help us to first of all become servants to one another in faith viewing one another as more valuable than we are, and to humble ourselves for what ever use we live in the efforts that are needed at the moment. Help us to live in real time and as real people who can relate to the needs that you have shown us. Help us to be willing to get dirty with one another in the everyday efforts to live out your word instead of to stand in judgment of one another from a distance.
Lord we are your people even though our actions are more from this world's view than from yours at times, we ask that you change the intent of our hearts to submit to your call to us, and that you words would abide and grow within our hearts. We pray that you would transform our minds and hearts into a living light that can penetrate the darkest places, and leave behind the purest of truth and light in the hearts of those whom we have touched. Father we realize that are nothing by ourselves, and can do nothing without your power and input shining through us to those around us so we ask Father that you would take all of who we are as a person and exchange the good that can be found there for your will and light, and power to be seen at all times in us. Father bind us together in love and bond our power of service and ministry into a single effort to speak to this world of your glory and your salvation. Let us truly be the church that you have called us to be through our submission to your call and your word... We ask these things in the only name above all other names; Jesus our Lord. .Hallelujah Amen
