first message A SPECIAL MESSAGE ABOUT THE SIMPLE TRUTH

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

The Simple Truth:  Romans 3 has two major messages to it. 1. God is Faithful and 2. it concerns itself with the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ.

We know the testimonies of the prophets of old and how they were treated as crazy men or heretics during their life time. Not one of these prophets were able to see the truths of their words come to pass while they lived, but the truth of what they said was there in spite of that.  God is just because God is perfect in every way.  He cannot be unjust in bringing His wrath upon us, and we cannot compare our own falsehood to His perfection. If you think about it that sounds very much like what is going on today..." Lets do evil that good might result".  Paul says NO! because for all of us condemnation is well deserved.

John 3:16 tells us that God has so loved us that He has devised a plan whereby we might be saved...but only if we follow it.  That plan first involved a way to break us away from the grip of complete death that original sin had us in.  The plan involved a perfect sacrifice in the form of the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.  This included His death, burial, and His resurrection from the dead.  It also included the need for us to accept that gift, and then believe enough to make a commitment of our lives to follow Jesus.  Most of us think that we understand that, and yet I do not think we do.  You see it is a plan that God has given us to follow, but the actions we have taken in the church today has miss directed us from the original intent of what God has asked us to do.

I know that I cannot get this complete message to you in one blog and so it is my intent to continue with this through this week...so try and stick with me.  For a very long time now we as men have been taking the control away from God's Spirit by trying to do His business through a worldly mindset.  Our worship, our praise, and in general the services we give out have been directed by what we think is right and good instead of being directed by the will of God's Spirit from within our hearts.  That change is beginning to show in the ways this world is receiving Christ, and in the ways we are preaching Christ.  For a long time now this fact has bothered me in my soul, and it has been in my prayers. God has given me a message that we all need to hear starting with Matthew 7:6-27 which are teachings from Jesus that I had a hard time understanding until recently.  I want for you to look at this passage of scripture with me to see if you can confirm what God is telling me this week...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
