IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE EASY

Greetings in Jesus:

The Christian life was never meant to be easy...it was meant to be held as a standard of excellence that we cannot achieve on our own.  We all need the supernatural power of God's Holy Spirit involved in our lives to pull it off.

In my own life in trying to find God I failed more than I succeeded when I worked under my own power.  It is only through the power of God's love working through us that we can ever achieve in the Kingdom of Heaven.  I am not a writer and yet the Holy Spirit writes through me.  It is something that I cannot contain within me and it is designed to to go out to those who will listen.  I must be speaking the truth because fewer and fewer people are listening.  Those few people to whom this word and ministry are touching need to know that God is speaking directly to you.

When we begin to speak of the things that will surely mean a decision must be made between you and the world's influence around you it is clear that a separation is required between you and self...between you and the things of this world that have a grip on your life.  Romans 6:15-23 finds Paul writing to the Romans about "Shall we continue in sin ?" It is a question that we need to ask ourselves today because the lines are very clearly being drawn in the sand of time about those who would stand with Christ and those who would  cower to the ways of social pressures.  I just read an article that said  from the well known brand Starbucks coffee " if you believe in conventional marriage we don't need your business".  As Jesus once said " if you are not for me then you are against me" and I believe that the world has now become emboldened and encouraged to stand against the laws of God.  We are seeing evil rear it's head in almost every facet of life as we continue a downward spiral into a deeper and darker world.  The fear should be very real for those of us who stand for Christ that the day will once again come when those in power will come into our homes and rip us out into the streets and make us either stand for Christ or accept the ways of darkness.  If we do not fight against this now we will see those days sooner than later.  This next week we will take on another heavy word to understand that involved God's work within us Sanctification. Don't miss out on it...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
