THE MOTH AND THE FLAME Giving and receiving
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I am finding that each day that innocence is being completely lost in life. One of God's commands is that we love and believe in Him as innocently as a small child and without any kind of disguise. That is because God wants that kind of love from us...a love that knows no malice. It is that element of malice that destroys our lives, and the lives of those around us. We can say that we don't do such things, but every time we walk out of a church service and start talking about someone within the church we resurrect malice within our own hearts again.
God warns us to speak no evil against anyone else, and not to even allow ourselves to listen while someone else speaks evil about someone because we become a partaker of that sin from the one who is speaking evil. Even a detraction of what is said or heard is inconsistent and it has an evil spirit within it that never continues in peace, but is almost always in discord. God tells us to stay away from it and yet we continue to be drawn toward that kind of thing like a moth to a flame.
Without quoting you a bunch of scriptures I just want to speak truth to you for a moment so that you might know that anyone of us can do that without having to spite out scripture. That is simply because God's Spirit should be dwelling within each one of us to know the truth from God when we hear it spoken. We need to put on an to practice a Holy consistency where there are no creeping sins within the truth we speak, but all is joy, and good for our fellow man. The way that we stay away from speaking evil of someone is to give openly of ourselves and what we have to others in need without prejudging those to whom we give. I think for a very long time now the only way that people have given is through the idea of what they might get in return...it has become more of an investment than a real gift to others. God tells us to give to all people for God wants us to give out all of the gifts that He has given to us. Much in the same way that love cannot be hoarded and kept to self neither can the free gifts that God has allowed us to use because of His love for us. We are to pass these things on at all times Those people who receive the things that we give will be held accountable to God for both what they receive and what end the gift was used for. If they have received without any real need they will give an account for it but those who give will be held innocent because they shall have done their duty in Christ Jesus.
We desperately need to consider these things from God's Spirit as they are spoken in truth today, and they become like life lines to those of us who are in the front lines between good and evil everyday. I hope that the Spirit of God confirms the truth that is written for you here today that we may become as one in mind and heart in this age. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
