LOVING TRUTH
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
Loving God is our highest priority in life, and because of that our speech should always be true as well. The Spirit that God has given us to dwell within our flesh is true to all men who have named Jesus Christ as Lord. This is so the Lord our God be be glorified and He is true and without any lie at all. There is no lie in God at all and those who lie deny the Lord and become robbers of the Lord. They do not render to God what they have received from Him. We have received a spirit that is free from lying, and if we make that spirit a lie we have defiled that which God has given us through Jesus Christ, and we have become deceivers.
As a man I can say that throughout my life time I have broken that trust with God so many times that it cannot be counted either through direct deception or by exclusion of the truth in my life. Even though I have been forgiven of these sins I still have that background that the enemy uses to harm me with in my soul. We have all spoken lies all of our lives, and have lived in lies. We have spoke lies to be truth in the past, and we have been accepted by this world as speaking the truth before men because they have at some time given credit to our words. Personally it is difficult to square that with a God who has done nothing but good for me. The world has not contradicted me because the world favors sin over the truth, but God's law has show me what the truth is, and has convicted me in my heart of that truth.
It is God's simple and plain mercy that has changed me from within to be who I am in Christ today...and I continue to grow. Anyone of us who have allowed God to begin that change within us is continuing to grow in this same manner, but we need to get a barring on where we started from; which is from the basic tendency to lie in this world. It does not matter where that lie may come from...we may be truthful with others more so than we are truthful with ourselves. We may not desire to hear the truth about who we really are in God's eyes because that means we have an accountability to God for what and who we really are. You may even ask as I have " How can I possibly live in Christ knowing this?"
Once again I speak the truth from the power of God's Spirit into your heart, and hopefully you have listened more closely to these things because the Spirit of God has compelled you to. Remember that it is God who works within you and calls you ever to a higher and deeper place with Him. His mercy and love flow over you right now and you will be at peace only when you surrender to His Spirit and His love flowing through you to those around you. Turn your heart now to love the truth and to hold on to the reality of Heaven in your life...you will never be disappointed. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
