CAUSE AND EFFECT

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

Throughout the ministry of Jesus on Earth everything that He showed us dealt in Cause and Effect from the reasons for God's actions toward the loving act He did in reaching out to mankind to the part of Himself sent to deal with the power of sin that enslaved us and separated us from Him.

LOVE  was the single reason for God's actions toward us just as the bond of love is the reactions that we show to our own offspring.  They are a part of who we are, and in a great way whatever we can do to help them is in some way helping ourselves to continue to thrive.  Jesus said an awful lot about love in general throughout the parables that we will study this year.  That message is laid out for us from  John 3:16 that tells that God loved us first while we were still in sin. Matthew 22:37 tells us that because of that devotion to us we should in turn love God, but that is only if we have a heart that is not destroyed by this world and the sin that so easily takes us over.  God had to first love us and care for us because we have never been able to love God or care for anyone else on our own.  God can love even those who hate Him in return, and He continues to seek out those who have been lost to this world. John 17:23- Matthew 5:43-47 - Luke 6:35.  While God can and does love in this way so that He can accept anyone right now who will come to Him and ask forgiveness and show repentance that certainly will not always be the case.  There is a time of judgment coming when love will no longer be the saving grace of this world.

Relationship becomes the key issue here between God and us just as it has been the key issue between God the Father ad Jesu

s the Son.  Sandwiched in between the two of them iis the bonding force of the Holy Spirit whom has been the unifying factor between mankind and God the father after the sacrifice of Jesus to break the bond that sin had on us.  We must find a way to make God first in our lives just as God has made it a first priority to love us. Matthew 6: 24 & 10:37  tells us that God must become our first love, and that the only way that we can prove our love for God is in obeying Him John 14:21 & 15:10.

It becomes our relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that shows our love.  If we in any way refuse Jesus then we just don't have God's love in us. John 5: 41-44.  Since God has started to show us love first, and since Jesus carried out the plan of love to free us from a captivity and separation we were under to sin He has a right now to expect something in return from us that shows Him that we are trustworthy.  God did not even say that all of our love was to go to Him...but that the real proof of our acceptance of Christ was in the ways we loved one another. John 13:34-35, and that it would be seen in the ways we demonstrated that love for one another to this world.  In a great way most of the ways we love God is through extending His love through our lives to one another, and then allowing the witness of that love to drawn people closer to God...that effectively let's God's Spirit draw people unto Himself.

To this world ; who knows nothing about the mind of Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit , or the love of God to us this seems foolish.  To we who have experienced that love from God, and have seen it work through the lives of those around us it is a different story altogether because we have experienced the power and truth of it.  If someone says" Prove it" to you just simply start to love them like you love yourself, and it won't be long before they see your point.  Let God do His ministry through your life...He will do the work; you just give Him the tools.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
