THE ACTIVE WORD OF GOD IN MAN- Hebrews 4:12

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
Hebrews 4:12 " For the word of God is living and actives, and sharper than any double-edged sword, It penetrated to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and the attitudes of the heart. Nothing in creation is hidden from Good's sight" Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him who we must give account"

It is this word that we must be accountable to within us, and it is this word that is continually active within the true child of God.

We have often seen Christians who we raised our eyebrows over concerning their behavior in places outside of the normal Church circles we normally see them in on a Sunday Morning.  The reason that behavior makes us stop for a moment is that it is not from God.

The word of God will not actively work within us until we are completely submitted to God's Spirit, and there is no room for negotiations between self and the word.  I hear so many times how we want to be close to God, or we want to be healed from the pains and struggles of this world, and yet we are specifically put in this situation by God to find out who we really are in the intent of our hearts.  We all know that our character is flawed by this situation we find ourselves in, but that character can and must change before we can enter into the presence of God.  In the end, it will either be God's way or the highway!   The funny thing is that it will be our choice as to what happens.  It will ultimately be our own decision as to what our eternal fate is to be.  No matter if we want it or not God is still closer to us than our very breath that is taken each second of our life.  I am beginning to see more the need for the Christian to show results in their supposed commitment to Jesus Christ through a changed life on a daily basis, but that cannot happen without first of all allowing the word of God to become that factor in your life that changes and molds you into a new person.  The absolute truth is that we cannot stay the same if we are in the word of God.  We will definitely see changes in our lives when we have yielded ourselves to God's Spirit, and it will come automatically, but not because we say so; only if we truly are changed by it.

The question always is how badly do we really want God in our lives?  If we do then when do we give Him control of our life?  Do you want to be healed? If you do you may have to have some surgery by the Holy Spirit through using the word of God to cut you open and removed that festering tumor this world has created within you.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
