SERIES DISCUSSION ON REAL LOVE #1
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
For a while now I have been seeing and hearing things said about LOVE and its meaning. Lately, I am seeing much less about any true meaning that love has in the lives of people, and more about a surface kind of feeling that we have for one another that is either based on a sexual attraction toward someone or the idea of a kind of pitty love to help in the time of need, but not the kind of love that is spoken of in God's word for one another. This opens us up to another; and might I add a very different discussion about love.
It prompts the question for me about what our meaning of love is today? Where is this kind of love taking us, and where do we go from here? I hate to say it but most of us don't really know what it is to really love today, at least not in the sense of a perfected and selfless love. The closest we come to that kind of love today is the love we have for a parent and child relationship, and we are finding that even that is being broken down at its most intimate levels today through the abortions that are taking place. The point is that our attitudes toward life, in general, are changing because we are beginning to lose track of what love really means in this life.

We could go through a whole mess of emotions that have caused us to change our hearts toward love today, but among the greatest is the deceit that we have found in those who were supposed to be put in charge of love in our society. We find corruption in the leadership of our faith, and we relate that somehow to a corruption in the God of our faith; which is not true at all. It is but one of the many deceits that this world is playing on the minds of young people today, and it is causing a turn in the value and the concept of what love means. This deceit is the main reason we find a lack of connection between mother and an unborn child today. The pregnancy did not start with love for the most part, but rather a lust... and the result was a disconnect and a seed of fear rather than faith in carrying a newborn baby into this world.
The Bible speaks of a time in history where it is better for children not to be born rather than to be brought into such an environment as we have today. We are in a very bad state of affairs when our potential mothers are murdering their babies for their own comfort and security. In general, people are more selfish than they have ever been when it comes to protecting things rather than people. Like it or not the concepts between those who have things and those who have very little are growing each day, and that gap is getting wider. We don't see it yet or understand it, but that is the goal of things like the New World Order to see that the gap continues to widen until only certain people have power and authority over the mass of people. It is then that they can dominate and fulfill a plan that no longer includes any kind of real love.
I would really like for you to consider what that world will look like because it will eventually arrive; especially if we continue to go down the path we are on right now. I want us to consider several things about love. It is not that love isn't constantly preached to us in church, because it is.
The question is "What are we getting out of it?" and are we understanding just how deep God intends for our love to reach? In order to deal with these things we are going to have to look at God's view of love, and what we were created to do about it. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
