LOVING GOD MEANS LOVING OTHERS
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
There never a time in life when we can separate the love that God has for us from our love for other people. People have been trying to get a corner on God's love for since time began, and yet it is impossible to do because that love is not a commodity that can be traded or sold even though it is priceless to us. There is only one way we can treat God's love for us properly, and that is through humility.
In Philippians 2:5-18 Paul speaks about the importance of humility " Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus who being in the form of God who thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of man. And being found in fashion as a man He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things of Heaven and things of Earth, and the things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father."
It takes that kind of total humility to receive God's love for us because in comparison to Him we are nothing at all. Our only saving grace is the mercy that He shows us through the humbling of ourselves to love one another as He did for us. That sentiment is not a joke because unless we can open our heart to love one another in the kind of service that He has shown to us we are without hope.

Paul goes on to explain that it is God who works in us to do His good will and pleasure toward one another. God does not want us at odds with one another but to be of the same mind and heart as He is toward us. Jesus taught us how to humble ourselves enough to become servants to one another because we would put one another first above ourselves. That is so that we might be able to be blameless and harmless, the sons of God. Dear ones we cannot put enough importance on the fact that we need to show the true love of God for us to one another because that is our true witness to this world. It is, in fact, the main reason that God allows us to stay around in this life after we accept Him as the Lord of our lives. We grow and become a part of a family in Christ that should be a safe place for new Christians to develop. I wonder mostly if we really do understand that completely? May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
