WHAT IS THE REASON FOR YOUR SEASON?

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:



 We automatically express to people we meet this time of year that "Jesus is the Reason for the Season"  It is as though just by saying that phrase we have done a great service to God's cause and Spirit within us.  My question is " WHAT REALLY IS YOUR REASON FOR THIS SEASON?"

  For a ton of reasons the world looks upon what we have in this country as a prize to be picked for themselves, but without the same determination and cultivation that we have grown to love and appreciate about what we have.  The world sees the riches we have and the things we possess as stuff, but God sees it as blessings for the reasons we have adopted the concept of this kind of freedom being centered around our right to worship God.  We have allowed this world into our home enough to try to change everything that God has helped us to put into place, and we almost let go of everything we hold dear by letting the inmates run the prison!  I thank God that didn't happen.

  There is a bigger question that looms over our heads from this point on, however, and that is what do we do from here?  The answer is somewhat more complicated now for us than before we allowed the evil of this world to get a foothold in our country to the point of letting the corruption run our country.  We are now forced to take a stand in the public square and proclaim the truth as much as the enemy of God has been willing to spread lies of hate and discontent.  We are the one who has allowed people to break the laws of our land and have done nothing about it.  We are also the ones who must now stand for the truth that God has established.

  We have a choice as to what we can do about this.  We can give this world what it wants and allow evil to take down our country but know it is only going to bring us closer to the terrible tribulations that we have been warned would come. Or we can fight for the God-given right to worship Him, which is the main thing that this world wants to control; but nothing will stop God's plan of Salvation from taking place just as He said it would happen.  Like it or not GOD IS IN CONTROL He will always be in control.  This Season I think it is time for us as individuals to ask ourselves What is our Reason for this Season?  I can say without any doubt " AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE; WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!"  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
