GETTING INTO THE SPIRIT
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
It does not matter who we may be in life we are at some time caught up in the spirit of the season. For some, it is a time of childhood joy returning through past memories while others it is only a time of relentless consumer greed. It all depends upon the condition of our heart when the season comes upon us.
As I was praying for guidance for the subjects of this coming blog series I found myself once again dealing with the spirit in people. I am realizing more each day how the general spirit of people seems to change with each season that comes and goes in our life. While we all deal with the spirit of the moment we are living in I can't help but think about what that spirit is producing in us? Our daily lives are subjected to that spirit in other people to the point where we naturally follow along with the crowd as they automatically accept that signal of change in attitude for a particular time of year.
As we get into the SPIRIT this year I would like to take the time to examine not only what spirit we are taking in, but both the good and the bad parts of what may be there

.What are some of the roads we just naturally take as people and what are the dangers we face today from what we allow to happen if the wrong spirit is in control? This is a path we walk each year many times with the very same results. We buy gifts because the world tells it is time, it is tradition, and it is family! I think it is time we also look more closely at the potholes that are in that road.

Do we even know what real fruit is in God's eyes, or does our harvest include just another year of paper packages tied up in ribbons thrown on the floor with toys and gifts given to those who have everything? Isn't it time we become fruit inspectors to make sure that what we are doing is good for us and everyone that God puts in our pathway.? I hope you will join me this next few blogs as we discuss getting into the Spirit. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
