HOLIDAY FREEDOM
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
JESUS is not only the reason for a season, but He is also the reason for a Season of change in our lives!
With all happiness and cheer, we may feel in this time of year there is also a Season of change requested in our lives that at some point we will not be allowed to ignore. God keeps tugging on our heart to come back to a place where we remember the purpose for worship and service to God.
Our hearts and lives have been designed to have a relationship unlike any other relationship in our lives. We actually need the feeling that we can trust someone so much that when trouble comes we don't have to look back over our own shoulder to make sure someone is protecting us who is actually stronger than we are.
There is a tremendous power that we are ignoring within the Christian life that a great majority of Christians have been talked out of using. What I am referring to is the power of God Himself to be in control of all that we do and say. When Christ comes and the battle lines are drawn by the enemy of God all that will happen is that God will speak one word and it will be over...do you realize that? When we say that we know we are on the winning team how much do we really know that? How deep is that understanding inside our hearts?
I realize now that in my life somewhere along the line I had lost my mind because I could not function as a normal person. In fact, I realize now that I was never created to be a normal person, but someone who would be used later in life to point these things out to certain people. You have been created to receive this message in your life, and there are some of you who will take that message to heart, and will make changes in your life that will prove God to be truthful in His word to you.
Dear ones, we will not only be victorious over this life, but we will reign with Christ Jesus as His very own. Our freedom comes in the fact that Christ is already the Lord of all...there is no contention for the crown, and there is no challenge that is being made on His Lordship by the enemy of God, that is all smoke and mirrors. The hate and loathing is real that we feel from those who despise God and want to have this world and its temporary riches all to themselves. As far as I am concerned they can have it because nothing here is designed to last forever. What I am looking for is something permanent in what Christ has proposed to me. That is if I will believe, and keep my eye upon Him; if I will dare to love as He has taught me to love and cling tightly to that which He has promised to me I will receive more than I could think or imagine in my heart in life and in freedom to be myself in Jesus. My friends that thought is more valuable to me than anything that this life could ever offer me and it is my prayer that in this Season where we love on the surface of our lives we would let that thought sink deep within us. May we all have a purpose for our love that Goes so much deeper than just a gift given to someone in a box and wrapping that will soon be cast away. Let the gifts we give be as permanent as Christ's gift to us. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
