THE CHURCH that Jesus established series 1
In the name of JESUS I open up this series of discussions about the Church. Greetings to all who have been given the freedom of the inheritance of the Kingdom of Heaven!
We are in the beginning stages; at least for those who live in this life of the end times which has been spoken of now for the last 100 years as being right at our door. Our experience within the church of today is something that is new to us, but is well planned and maintained by the power of the Holy Spirit in this age. These times we live in right now have a great purpose to God the Father because they will reveal the truth from the deceit of the flesh. God is prepared the way for the outpouring of His Spirit upon all of His people, and in many different ways, but we must also realize that the enemy will also be released upon this world as a final act of rebellion against not only God, but also upon those who have committed themselves to God. I can give very personal testimony to that hate that evil has for those in Christ who are being used through the Spirit to release truth into this world., I am attacked each and every day by this oppression.
My point here is to say that we will all be experiencing this kind of thing to much greater degrees in the time that remains. As we begin to unwrap the purposes for the church today; it meaning and its work among us today, we will see it in a different light than it is being presented to us by the standard traditions and denominations of today. The church that Jesus established was designed to be modeled after the family, but we rarely even understand the dynamics of what a family was designed to be today because the social breakdown of what we have always known the family to is all but shattered.
God designed the church around the principals of God being the father, the Holy Spirit being the comforter and the teacher, and Jesus as being the Savior and the example of how to have a relationship with God. In today's family the father is often not even in the picture, and if so it is on a very limited basis. The mother is often the one who raises the family, and by herself it is very difficult to be all things. Because of that many times there is burn out or abandonment issues. As children there is many times no one who can fill those roles effectively, and it is getting harder all of the time to find good solid teachers of the word of God who can also show us examples of what a teaching means.
The church should be a soft place for Christians to land when this world knocks them down. and if they are in love with God at all this world will most certainly try to dissuade them from living for Christ. Because it is so important that we take our time in establishing the proper ways this family needs to operate it will take some time for us to go through how this should work. There is a great mixture of responsibilities within the church to be sorted out, and in establishing these jobs and functions the first thing that needs to be put into action is God's role in the Church, so that where we will start. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
