THE CHRIST CONTROLLED LIFE
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
It is never hard to find someone to say to us " YES I BELIEVE IN JESUS", but it is much harder to find someone who will continue to prove that testimony through the life they live each and every day after they say that. Yes" We all make mistakes, but it is time to stop using that as an excuse for not trying to come back to God and find His forgiveness or continue to build that relationship that we say we cherish so much.
I want to begin to take the time; as much as I can to lay out some simple steps toward creating a relationship with God that will bring us to a place where we can come to God as His child and ask for forgiveness with the right frame of mind. Most people get kind of excited about going on an adventure; for those who don't we will just call it a journey, but make no mistake we are all on this together. This Adventure/Journey that we are all on demands that we take precautions for our own safety. We need a guide that knows the way that is the safest and most beautiful ways to get to our destination. In many cases we can either simply trust our leader or we can keep a good map of the way with us to help us follow the path we are told to use. If our leader is trusted He will no doubt also tell us to follow the ma that He has given us, and will tell us to check the coordinates from time to time so that we know exactly where we are at all times.
This can be a dangerous outing for us because there will be enemies along the way that never want for us to reach our goals. We can be certain of our success if we both follow our trusted leader for examples of what to do and when to do it, and follow the map that has been given to cross reference the way. I am always fighting each day to physically come to you through the power of Jesus to share because the enemy has long wanted to take me out of the fight, but God has a job for me to get done, and as long as He wakes me each day no matter what the obstacle may be that I face for that day. In order for me to ever overcome the pain I suffer in my joints with arthritis I must first give God the glory for the chance to endure for His glory what ever may come my way that day. Before I rise in the morning to start my battle I must first die to self and take the time to meditate on Him. Then comes the preparation of putting on the various braces and supports for my body that I need, and the medications necessary to sustain me in a daily routine. There is never a moment in my life now when I am not in touch through the power of God's Holy Spirit with the Father in some way because He is the only source of strength I have left to sustain me in a day.
I want each one of you to know that I don't operate this way daily because I am such a good person, but because I am; just as Paul wrote " A SLAVE TO THE CAUSE OF CHRIST". For me it was not a choice of the flesh to do what I have been called to do, but rather a command made by the Lord for me to suffer these things that I might understand the tremendous importance of what God is trying to say to us. It is for your benefit and love offered to you through the Spirit of God which flows through me to you that I suffer these things. I have grown to understand my role now in Christ for this time in God's plan. This is my calling to stand and to give an account for the light that has been lit within me to burn ever brighter for the glory and purpose for which my life has been created. It has taken many long years to prepare me for this calling, and my time gets shorter to do the work I have been called to do. Me must start to get very serious about our intent of heart toward God in this time in history because the enemy is being released for a time upon this earth to create havoc and hate among mankind in a way that we could not imagine.
My dear ones we have the opportunity to be that light of a city shining upon a hill so that all can see it from a distance, but we must allow Christ's Spirit to control each and every day of our lives. We will never be strong enough alone or spiritually mature enough to stand on our own. As a man Jesus knew that from the beginning in His ministry and that is why He spent so much time in prayer. We will be getting into some very powerful areas of discussion in the coming weeks and months (God's will), and we will need to concentrate upon this one fact; God must be in control for our lives to be successful. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
