OUR COMMUNICATION WITH GOD

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

It is a general knowledge among Christians that God speaks to us in terms of everyday life.  That statement is especially true when we allow ourselves to tune into the desires of His Spirit living within us.  It is our communication with God that needs work because we should take  seriously the need for us to always operate under the influence of God's Spirit  if we want to have His power to live our lives daily as an example to this world.  In other words our influence in Christ goes only as far as His Spirit influences us; we have no spiritual power of our own to give to the world around us.  We become only a reflection of His light shining within us.

Jesus showed us some very important things to put into our daily routine in His habit of prayer and the amount of time He personally gave to His communication with the Father through the Spirit.  Jesus made various statements that indicate the extreme importance of keeping that line of communication open at all times.  He used prayer as a place of resource for recharging His person to take on various tasks.  I think it is important that we remember that Jesus would many times spend the night praying before He gave a message to the general public.  Jesus allowed the Spirit of God to flow freely through Him to heal and do many different miracles that would point toward His having been sent by God the Father as His Representative to deliver the Good News.  Jesus said on several occasions that He could do nothing or say nothing that was not first directed through Him by God's Holy Spirit, and I believe that is exactly the way He wants us to apply the Spirit's power in our lives.

Prayer can be the difference in your life of how God can use you because the closer you get to to the release of your will to God through prayer the more God's Spirit can transform your life in meeting the necessary requirements for you to be able to both see and hear spiritually.  We must all undergo a tremendous transformation before we are ready to be a part of a perfect Kingdom.  When we delay that transformation by our own stubborn will we simply cannot and will not be used effectively to witness to this world what the truth is of God's purpose in us.  When doing that our lives are held back from bearing fruit for Him.  If we do not bear fruit for Him or if we are refusing to become committed enough to change our character through this transformation process we are no good to Him anymore than the weeds that grow along side of the wheat and good grain at harvest time.  If we are in that position we will no doubt be treated in the same way as all of the other rubble that is cast into the fire and burnt.  My dear ones I want for you to know the truth about what God expects from our lives, and so I continue to shed certain light on these discussions  to bring you to a fuller knowledge of God's heart for you.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
