THE IMPORTANCE OF FAMILIES
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
It is the greatest truth of life that there is no greater treasure than Families to have in this life. This a fact that gets more important to all of us the older we grow to find that pieces of family tend to fall away in life caused by death and attrition by simply losing contact with one another.
I believe that Family is one of the most important things to God about life, and that is due to the relationship bond and the love that can be felt by that kind of strong bond. God puts a great emphasis on the bond between a parent and their child in this life. Probably ( as we have seen in life around there is no greater bond than the love between a mother and a child. There is one strong value that is also needed in life and that is the bond of a father figure. Unfortunately my own children grew up without me in their lives, and so that failure is on my own mind in my life a lot as I grow older. There is no way to repair it at this point, but I keenly am aware of the bond I had with my children before it was taken away.
My point here is that we all need that bond of relationship in our lives, Today we are faced with a great decision to make in our families. Do we want to fix that gap that has been ripped in our family structures in this country or do we simply stand by and watch our social structure fall apart around us? We do have a great example of God's love and provision for us as His children if we will only observe it. It seems to me like the very fabric of who we are as a Nation is being attacked by a very sinister force of evil unlike anything we may have ever seen in this world. I believe it is the very evil that we have fought back now for the length of history; and I believe that one of the things we have to look at is the release of that evil at some point on this world for a short time. I also believe as Jesus has indicated that when that time comes the evil will be so great as it gushes forth that unless Jesus came quickly there would be no one left to believe in His promises. That to me is a very scary feeling
The fact remains that God has set our complete social structure up around families, and that includes Father, Mother, and children. We can easily see what has happened with this social structure being left in the hands of mankind with the changes being primarily driven by the sin of this world. Our desires cannot fulfill the Majesty of God's design for us, and no matter if we can understand that truth or not, we are still required to live by those rules. The more we fight and rebel against the fact that we are a creation of the almighty God and not our own masters the more we will degrade our relationship and our importance to God's desire for our salvation. Lot had trouble in finding even 10 in the city of Gomorrah who were righteous enough to save that city from destruction and while we may have many who claim to know God in this country the number of true believers who live their lives in a righteous way every day are quickly dwindling. Jesus shed tears over Jerusalem as He sat outside of the city. Is He doing the same thing with your community today? May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
