CASTING A GIANT SHADOW (CONT)

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

I wanted to continue with a few thoughts about the shadows that we cast with God's truth.  If you look closely at this drawing you will see a small figure  of someone holding a bible in their hands, and behind them is a presence of a huge angel  with complete protection for him.

  This in my mind represents the real truth about the power that is behind one single person who holds the truth of God's word in their heart and hands when facing this world.  We are by ourselves nothing at all to God's enemy until we arm ourselves with that truth, and then suddenly we are joined by the angels of Heaven in a massive struggle that would simply cause the heart of a man to faint at just the sight of the enemy we face.  I believe that is why God does not allow us to have the spiritual sight to see the truth enemy that we face.

 I have in the past seen the enemy from time to time and they are very scary, but I have also learn ed to see the Heavenly back up that I have in this life much more clearly as well.  It is impossible of course for us to know what is really there until we can see it with our own spiritual eyes, but I believe with all my heart that although we may be small in stature in this life we have great power  standing right there with us.  It is not our will that moves mountains that are in our way, but the angels which accompany our faith.  Today is another opportunity for you to grow in your faith in Christ and to develop the kind of support that you can see an example of in this drawing.  Wouldn't you feel a bit more bold if you knew who was backing you up?

 Jesus used the term "Having the faith of a grain of Mustard Seed"  more than anything these days I want to see the development of faith again in the people of God.  I don't think we realize how much help is there for us from the Father if we will just trust and have faith in His truth.  Like it or not we have been engaged in an all out war between the principalities and powers in Heavenly places now all of our lives.  The only real tool we have to combat this evil that seeks to destroy us is our faith in what God has told us is truth.  We will never create or find this truth or an equal to how our lives are guided by this word anywhere else except for in God's Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord.  God simply wants for us to wake up enough to realize that and then to make a choice for our own future..

 The urgency my friends today is in waking up at all from the drug ed state we find ourselves in in enough time to make that decision, and then to begin to live it out in our lives.  I pray for all of you each day as I am guided to write these messages to you that you can see what I am saying is directly from God's Spirit to your  hearts...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.



THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
