PIECE BY PIECE BUILDING UPON THE FOUNDATIONS OF CHRIST
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
There are many things that become parts of the life we build upon our beliefs in Christ as our Lord and Savior. Among the first is actual belief that Jesus is the Son of God. If we are to really deal with the changing factors that are going to be required in our life transformation from someone who was condemned to a life without God to a new creature in Christ who is seen as clean through the blood of Christ; there are several areas we must deal with.
I want to try to help us begin to build correctly upon the foundations that we have said that we believe in. For me to do that I need to approach our Christianity in a slightly different way. What I mean is that I want to deal with our relationship in Christ both with God and with one another without religion being involved. I know what you must be thinking! so I want for you to stay with me her for a moment so that I can explain. We have all seen in the world how religion has been used as a kind of commodity for this world to use as a currency for negotiations both on the political scene as well as social customs and morality, but Christianity is the only form of worship that takes the control out of the hands of men, and begins to prepare us for an exchange of the principals we have learn ed in this world for a brand new set of principals to be used to ready us for life with our creator. We are actually called on to give this life away for one which has been promised to us.
When you think about that at first it seems like a very costly proposition, and you would be right! In fact it hardly sounds like the concept that we have been spoon fed by the various churches we have been a part of during our life time...so why is that do you think? Could it be that we have not been getting the whole truth? Could it be that we need to study for ourselves those things that Jesus actually taught so that we might not be fooled by the world around us?
It is because of the shadow governments and the conspiracy theories that have floated around over the last few years that I have grown to not trust someone just because they say they are a messenger from God. It actually causes me to look very closely at what it was Jesus said and taught about our lives and what He said about what we needed to look for in our relationship with the Father. As we begin to really look at this closely we will not be able to view our relationship with religion and church the same ways we always have. As I have personally been studying what Christ said to us in His Good News, and about His New Covenant with us throughout the new testament I have had a kind of DAY/NIGHT revelation happen in my heart that I really feel many of us have missed. I want to share with you some of what the Holy Spirit has been teaching me about that relationship. Please join me in prayer about this upcoming series of writings and that the Holy Spirit would help me to speak clearly about what has been found in Jesus teacahings. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
