WHEN WILL WE KNOW WHO WE ARE?

When we stand before God we will have nothing of this world but who we are
Greetings in the name of Jesus:

We all ask the question of "Who are we?"
The answer to that takes on more thought than we realize at first  glance.  We have been looking at our creation by God.  We have discussed some of the reason for why we are made like we are, but what the intention behind our creation and the goal that God had in mind still tend to allude us.  We know we are first and most importantly created spiritually because God is first and foremost a Spiritual being.  We are , however hung up on the physical aspect of our creation because our senses are collected around and guided by the physical world that we are stuck in.
We are created first to be spiritual and yet this  physical world is mostly what we must deal with and address as we live.  We know that having a body as we do limits our ability to find out more about who we are, but it is also a part of our creation, and has a direct purpose for why we are here.  There is yet one more element of our creation which is the ability to have free will and choice.  All of these things lead us to understand that God's perfect intent for our being the way we are is to make a choice and take a stand about our belief in Him.

We have these three elements to our creation: SOUL, BODY, and LIFE.  The soul is the main part of who we are, and it what connects us directly to God; it allows us to enter into a relationship with God, to walk and talk with Him as Adam and Eve did.  The most important thing about the soul is that it is eternal in the same way that God's Kingdom and life are eternal so that we as His children can dwell with Him.  The body is a part of us that God had to add to our created purpose because  He could not trust our free will  any more than He could trust the free will given to Lucifer.  God could not allow us to run freely in His Kingdom with free will any more than He could Lucifer and so He created us with  a limitation by giving us a physical body to dwell here outside of God's Kingdom until He could be certain of who we want to serve and who we want to be.  Some how we have gotten the idea that this physical form is the only part of any real life, but in truth  God has told us through His word to us that we need to make a choice about Him through our free will, for we can choose God and the love and loyalty that He has shown us or we can choose self and our own very limited abilities.  So far we have discussed the things we see around us as a created being, but my goal this next few blogs is to get us to understand why we are made the ways we are.  Each of us actually has been created with a purpose in mind even though most of us tend to miss it. More later on may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
