OUR CHRISTIAN RELEVANCE / PART TWO

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

We spoke in the last blog about the relevance of our need to create a Mind-set that enabled us to seek after God with our whole intent of heart.  The fact remains that  we have never been created to live forever in this environment or in this condition.  We are here in this physical form for one reason only ; so that we might make a final decision about our relationship with God.

The reality of what Jesus said about " His Kingdom not being of this world" should prompt us to  understand that if we are indeed a part of His Kingdom then our Kingdom is not of this world either.
We have long understood that there are two separate worlds that are some how linked in a spiritual way and yet that we cannot cross over to until this life is over.  The details are sketchy but we somehow know and accept it as a fact even though we use that knowledge as a toy for our own amusement in movies and plays; books , and art work.  We all know there is something more there than we can see physically, and no matter what we may say we are in awe of it.  The fact that we can experience both of these Kingdoms at the very same time should show us the simply truth that we must make a choice in one or the other.

It is this question that God continues to bring up...We must choose one of these kingdoms because  we cannot live in both forever.  We must begin to understand that in almost every way this physical kingdom is only a part of our preparation to live in God's Spiritual Kingdom.  If we can somehow wrap our mind around that we can begin to understand how this all makes perfect sense. Our life in this physical Kingdom has a great deal to do with the ultimate decision we make about spending our eternity in the Spiritual Kingdom; but this Spiritual Kingdom of Good has very little relevance to this physical life.  That means to me that the Spiritual realm can have a great effect on this physical world , but the physical world has very little effect on the Spiritual world.

This physical world is run by the natural laws of the strongest survive, and the winner takes the spoils.  The spiritual world is run by a very different set of values. The spiritual realm has no time limits or values in the concept of beauty over the common. The concepts of victory is not based upon speed or strength but upon the endurance of spirit.  Eternity is far different than temporary; therefore the plans set by spiritual powers have not time limitation.  If a lie even though it is known as a lie is told long enough it will become a legend; and a legend if told long enough will become a tradition, and men will always hold on to a tradition before they will accept the truth even when they cannot dispute the truth.

As men and women who are tied to this temporary reality we cannot know what the truth is until we have been made well aware of what deceit is first.  God is trying to get us educated so that we can make a wise judgment about what lie is and what the truth is, but we must be willing to be taught, and willing to allow God's Spirit to work His transforming power within our hearts.  The prize is life and life more abundantly than we can ever imagine .  We must realize that it is the physical part of us that believes we are too weak to live forever, and yet by that same created nature we also know there is something far beyond  thiss temporary life.  We must become brave enough to seek out that truth which we know is there , but which we cannot yet see.  We must allow our life here to have significance for something much more than we have now...life beyond life, anf a goal that is worth preparing for and striving to achieve.  That is only through God's promises to us...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
