IF WE ALL KNEW THE TRUTH
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
If we are knew the truth about what awaits us I am more than certain that people would be beating down the doors of Heaven. That is a problem for God because everyone would be trying to convince God of their love but we all know the heart of men is desperately wicked. If we all knew the truth we would never have to believe in God's love for us because we would be coming to Him for a life insurance policy...not love or relationship.
My heart tells me that even though many more would come to God and say the things that He has asked us to say the whole plan of salvation would be void because our love would no longer be true. If we knew the truth about God and about what is on the brink of happening no one would every neglect choosing life with Him. This is a Test life for us, and one that is filled with the deceit of this world. The only one who is being straight with us is God, but we have to get to the point that we can see all of this with spiritual eyes.
God is starting fresh with us as His creation through our living this life by finding out who we really are in the intent of our hearts. Many of us are weaker than others, and the love we generate may be off center somewhat. We may fail at every turn in trying to grow...at least within our own eyes, but God does know the intent of our hearts. He is not keeping score as some would lead you believe, but He is more interested in our heart, and our our effort to get back up with His help and continue to run the race. For any one of us the failures we have had in this life already disqualify us for Heaven so it cannot be the kind of list that we so often think of in this world of do's and dont's . God has always been looking first for a relationship with us...as imperfect as it might be on our part.
The greatest thing that we need to understand about the End Times we are in is that it is all tied into the Plan of Salvation that God constructed before He sent Jesus done to Earth to live among us and to be His Blood Sacrifice for our sin. That blood sacrifice is the key to this whole thing working because God already knew how screwed up we would be from the sin of this world. This is not a cake walk for Christians...this becomes a life or death battle many times. When we think of the End times most of us think about the Book of Revelation and the prophecies seen there, and while we will get into that I don't want to dwell on things that can and will happen, but on getting us prepared and watching for that day. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
