Blog 4 THE CONTINUED MESSAGE FROM GOD'S SPIRIT
It becomes our own untamed bad habits that we most want to change in others so why not start with working on self first?
Keeping all of this in context with what the Good News is actually saying to us we find a warning again from Christ about listening to false Prophets who are actually leading you away from the truth. God calls each of us to make judgments based upon the fruit of His Spirit that can be found within the teachings we receive. Matthew 7:15-20 speaks of this but He does not stop there...He continues by saying " Not everyone who calls me Lord "Lord" will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven" We can see there is much danger in allowing false teaching to continue unchallenged, and in Matthew 7:21-27 we find the results of many who are right now being taught wrongly.
We hear an awful lot about love , and how love can cover a multitude of sins, but love can also be deceived. Some times I can't help but to ask myself is there anyone left out there who is still willing to seek after life in Christ on their own? All of this week we have been dealing with what God's Spirit has been giving me in the middle of the night...instead of sleep or relaxation these things have been on my mind in prayer, and as I write to you each day.

The final choices are made by the methods we use to build our lives on the foundations of Christ Jesus. We have the choice as to what materials we use to build with. We can use that which is strung around us like so much garbage...things that are very easily accessible, and which can easily be made to look like something strong and powerful with a good paint job or good covering; or we can take the time and make the effort to dig for the treasures that we know are always within us but which are buried deep. This week we have seen what this world does with the most priceless of things we can give when we simply toss them into the pig pen and hope for the best. Our love, forgiveness, and mercy are very often trampled upon and cheapened by this world. These things are rendered useless by the world because they have no clue as to what they really are.
It is for that reason that God has given us the body of Christ so that these things might be properly demonstrated to this world...both in being given , and in being received. The more we throw at this world no matter what the intent of our heart is in doing so the more we are seeing that if we use the mindset of this world to deal with Godly issues we will make no progress. These things must be demonstrated to the world by the love that we share with one another; it is the only way that people will be able to understand the vast difference between this world's concept of love, and God's pure love Remember the scripture in Matthew 7:21-27 for it gives you a much better plan to use than the one we have all seemingly adopted. It is the unshakable rock of our faith in Jesus Christ...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
