HOW DO WE IMPLEMENT THE PLAN OF SALVATION?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
Is there real some final phase that we have missed all along in putting our faith to work within this world? Is there something that we have just glazed over for years now that should have been easily done...yet we have ignored?
I am pretty sure that the answer is yes to that series of questions! What makes the adults look bad is that " Jesus said even a little child can understand it". I don't believe it is the plan that is so hard to understand, but I do think that the blame falls on many of those who have been teaching the word incorrectly for generations. I blame the churches who have refused to do any digging on their own to find out the truth instead of taking the word of a denomination for what is being said. I blame leaders of the church where ever they are who have tried to take the heat off of Christians wherever they are because they don't want to rock the financial boat in the church, or mess with the doctrinal differences it would make with their denominations.
The most simple truth in the implementing of the Plan of Salvation is in turning our attention toward one another and in showing this world that true Christianity works. We have long been under the impression that in going unto all the world means that we must concentrate on the world with love and kindness when in truth we are challenged to love one another as Christ has loved us for a very good reason...we are to be an example to the world. The more I look at the situation of this world the more I see that people in general do not have a clue as to how to understand a selfless love from God. The world cannot understand the idea of giving to someone else with no intent of a return on the investment made. The world has a mental picture that is permanently stamped in the brains of men that says "Self first". The world has to be shown how love from God works in life, and that it can work before we can make any progress in God drawing them closer to Himself.
The whole concept of showing the world how to love by simply loving one another has been lost within the church. There isn't any reason why the world calls us hypocrites...we have not loved one another as an example of what Christian love should be. It becomes that one simple and yet dramatic change in how we go about witnessing to this world that we have missed. I remember the "Monkey see...Monkey do" concept of my childhood; and I think "you know that makes a lot of sense!" We learn from the beginning by watching someone else do things...God understands that. Cultures from the beginning of time have used that approach to teaching the young how to survive and do things. It is time that we begin to implement our salvation through showing this world how it should be lived out...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
