DEVELOPING TRUST WITH GOD

Greetings in Jesus:

One of the most difficult things we have to do is to develop trust with God...notice I did not say in God; but with God.  We need to realize that the reason we are here as mankind is simply because God cannot trust the self will within us.  We have been given self will because it is the only way that God can receive pure and perfect love from us.

It is that perfect love that He has so desired in our creation from the beginning, and without that element we cannot be what He has created us to be ; which is family.  For us the trust issue deals with starting from not knowing God to believing that He exists without having ever seen Him.  That belief extends on to receiving His word to us because we can believe in the truth that we have found there for our lives.  After we have accepted His existence and His word for us we begin by developing a relationship with Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  It begins to be important that we revisit what it takes for us to develop  trust between ourselves and God.  In the beginning God has now reason to believe what we say to Him that He could believe what Satan says to Him.  The problem is self will, and the solution is our attitude and our willingness to go as far as we can in showing God that we are trustworthy.  If we think about what it takes for another person to gain our own trust we can begin to understand God's reasoning for either having trust in us or no trust at all in us.

I believe that is the reason for God to request from us what He does.  God has shown good faith in that He first loved us so much as to even try to redeem us from our situation.  The Plan of Salvation is well planned out in every detail.  The sacrifice made for us was His own blood, and now our part of that plan must be our own commitment toward transformation through the power of His Holy Spirit living within us.  The various pieces of our lives that I have mentioned before will continue to be requested even after we get to the point that those pieces are parts of our lives that we think we cannot live without.  It is then that God begins to see what our true commitment is within His word to us.  Both our own will and the constant battle with this world over that commitment we make with Christ will never go away.  The closer we get to God the more this world will show it's hate toward us.  So far we have talked about the Plan of Salvation as it relates to us as a creation.  While our part of this is the most important issue here the Plan of Salvation also effect other things like the world around us. The Plan of Salvation also effects those who have rejected Jesus Christ as their Savior, and it effects the world at large around us.  It is this which we will get into in the next blog....may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
