THIS CHRISTMAS
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
This Christmas could be just like all of the others that we have allowed to go by without great incident. We could go through all of the tradition of gift giving and receiving or we can make this a special year of acknowledging what we are really supposed to be doing and thinking about. While I doubt very much that the later will happen; I want to suggest to you that we can take the time to understand that God has tried to ; and is still trying to reach down to you and say I love you for the fact you are my creation.
We all have been so screwed up by this world in the thinking that we must be someone different or better than we are before we have the right to be loved, or cared for. God has loved you just the ways you are right now...He has sent a message to you saying so through the event of the birth of Christ into this world to bring you a message from Him that says I want you to be with me. God has tried to be with us here and to dwell in some form among us through the Jewish Nation, and yet we still see the rejection that mankind in general has given that gesture...we think its all about us. This time of year we have the chance to realize that God did much more than to dwell in our midst...He came as one of us to live and work among us and then to show us His sacrifice and will to love us. Still for the majority of men that is not enough. God has now sent His Spirit to dwell inside of those who will accept Jesus, and that is the ultimate gift of love if we will only receive it. I cannot think of a greater act of love and kindness to be given to us than for God to live inside each one of us; being there to give us continual guidance and love...encouragement and wisdom.
The great question is what are we going to do with that offer at this time in our existence with the overwhelming love of God for us? What are you going to do with Jesus this year? We are given the chance once more to answer that question...today is the day of Salvation as Jesus said...what will you do with me? The prayer line to God is open right now and He is waiting to hear from you...don't disappoint Him again this year, it may be your last chance.
I bring this message to you as a concerned citizen of the Kingdom Of Heaven about your eternal life...May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
