SEEING A CHANGE
Greetings in Jesus name:
Over the last year we have studied the Parables of Jesus for the majority of our blog time, and that has all been so that you might get a solid idea of what was the mind of Christ concerning the behavior of His followers...I mean those who actually were serious about having the concept of God as their Lord and Savior. In the process of doing this we have lost quite a few readers from what at one time was a large international audience. We still have readers from around the world that join us, but the great majority of people got cut from us because of some computer glitches from this side.
This last year has been a very slow build up again, and mostly people from the United States. What I want to say here is that I have been seeing a change from all over the world in how people have been relating to Christ's own teachings. It is a very natural dismissal of the things that Christ has said which cause someone to have to make changes in their life to stay with God. It is almost as though the world is getting to the point where they no longer want to give parts of who they are to God. Parts in particular they don't want to live without, or they may feel that they can't survive somehow without.
To my mind this indicates that once again there is a change going on in the natural separation between spirit and flesh. These lines are being very clearly drawn in many cases with the corruption seen by our leadership in Government. It is to the point that they are not even trying to hide what they do...the lie is out in the open and directly to your face with no apologies necessary. I am not sure what the nature of this corruption comes from but I do know that it is aided by the absolute apathy of those who claim to stand for God. We have seen from history how civilizations have crumbled from the inside outward without a shot ever being fired.
The things that we have studied over the last year have set us up for an even greater divide to be made this coming year between this world and those who would live their lives for God because we will be studying the original first church as it was established by Christ. We will find a strangely different mind set of those people toward what they owned, what they were given, and toward their responsibilities toward those around them in life. The whole social structure was changed to show forth the true nature of the leadership and Lordship of Jesus Christ in every day lives. The results will astound you as we see a tremendously different concept of life with God in control. As we take this trip through the book of acts( written by Luke) we will see a mindset that must first start in an individuals relationship personally to God, and then branch out to those around them. This will deal with the selfishness that we have come to expect from life, and dealing with individuals we meet. Those things we have heard and learned from Christ's Parables about life in general will be seen put into action in the newly established church, but we will also see that unless we stay focused upon Christ alone we will not be able to be in the continuous center of God's will for us as either a church or as a disciple of Christ. These are the final days of this year to celebrate in finding any kind of peace on earth...in fact it is the final days before Christ comes again as well for us to make peace within our souls. I urge you find your relationship with God before this year is finished, and prepare for 2015 with resolve for God's Kingdom. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
