PURPOSE
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
The older I get the more I find myself at odds with the world around me. Today I can turn on almost any media out-let to find a new take on anything from the creation of man to the history that we have all been taught about mankind being completely wrong! It seems like everything is a conspiracy of some kind ; or at least we are being told it is.
The question is WHO is to blame for all of this turmoil?
When I think about that I look to those whom we have been told are the authorities on the truth in our society; which is our leadership, and the news media we listen to. I am finding as I look more closely at these things that we cannot trust much of anyone to find the real truth for us except us! It seems that this world has become more alienated from the truth as time goes on because of the tremendous strain brought about by people locking their brains into trying to develop a better form of reality. No one wants to admit to having been mislead most all of our lives about what that truth might be, and so we tend to spend a lot of time covering up so no one can see just how confused this world has made us.
The good news is that the truth still does exist with or with out this world's approval., and that truth is found in the word of God as it is given to us through the ministry and the life of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. It is that simple truth that we need to be able to clearly see today by trusting in God's word. I guess just this year I began to see just how corrupt this world has gotten when I saw how crazy those who view life from the left have gotten over the latest elections. We have never seen the kind of tantrums and childish displays ever in this country until now. It reminds me of the same kind of thing that an over indulged child would do when they don't get their way, and the fact is if those who were in protest would have followed up with their votes the election would have likely gone their way, but it was the immaturity of those who said one thing and did another that changed the course of things. It reminds me of the way that Lucifer may have reacted to not getting His way from God. What I find that is similar in many ways is the reactions given to that bad news of NO is much the same in our society as it was with Lucifer, and that to be is a tell tale sign that the enemy of God is who is behind all of this. I believe that alone answers the WHO part of all of this mess we find ourselves in. We have not been getting truth for quite a long time, but instead we have been managed by the media and by those in power in this world to believe their truth, and impose their will on us.
The only way I can see around such things is for us as Christians to take a stand together while we still are a majority in this country, and while there still is freedoms that we hold so dear to our hearts as Americans. Things like this should be a wake up call to us, and we should no longer be willing to just sit and listen to the bi-lines that are written out for us to believe in our society. It is time for us to return to Christ alone as our source of truth. There still is one source of Absolute Truth and that is God's precious word. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
