OUR DISCERNMENT ABOUT THE TRUTH
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
IT IS TIME TO DRAIN THE SWAMP! and when I say that I mean from all of those who have entrenched themselves into positions of authority in opening up doors to us of an easier way to serve God than what the scriptures and Christ's own teachings tell us.
I am old enough to remember the " Hell fire and brimstone" messages I heard when I was a child in the Bible belt of America growing up. Those messages were set on a different course of truth than we are hearing today. Those messages were mean to get people to think about eternity through scaring them into a relationship with God, and it brought quite a few to Christ, but it wasn't quite the right method either. It is actually a mixture of the truth about what happens when we reject Christ, and the mercy that God has shown us in sending Christ as an answer for our salvation; and after all of that is given to us there is a decision to be made by us through the free will that we have been given to choose. The question always remains of which we will to choose, and the final answer belongs to us. It is that free will which is always in play within our lives as to what choice we will make today.
Firmly believe that we cannot be plucked out of God's hand by the enemy; but I also believe that we can be convinced by the enemy to crawl out of God's hand on our own. The difference is once again in our own will. When everything is settled we will have no one else we can blame on what happens except for us; this decision making process is set up that way by God Himself. We will not be able to point fingers at Satan or at God saying "he made me do this or that" it will be our own choice that has been made that we must live with eternally. Paul brought both sides of this issue into play when he wrote to the Romans, and then to the Galatians, and the Corinthian churches, but he was dealing with different problems at each church so he wasn't dealing with the whole story. Today we are grabbing at bits and pieces of what Paul had written to these places and focusing on only a part of the whole. That is why we have the scripture so that we can get a complete picture of what was being said. That is also why I choose to teach no doctrine that Christ Himself did not teach. I put no complete confidence in men no matter if it is in Peter or Paul, John or Luke. It is the words and the message that Jesus was sent here to teach us and show us that is important, and so I will choose to stick with that even if it become difficult to deal with.

It was Jesus who taught that we need to have a relationship with God, and a belief in Jesus as the Son of God; that He has been sent by the Father to deliver this New Covenant to us so that we can make a choice to allow the Spirit of God living within us to transform us into new creatures that are acceptable into the Kingdom of Heaven. We all know of God's mercy and love toward us, but it will always be our choice to accept that love. There is no loving father who is not willing to see his child grow up and take on the responsibility of becoming a strong member of the household. He has told us to be one with each other as we are one with Him and He is one with the Father, but it is our choice to either Grow or to become stagnate through our desire to find an easier way than God has given us...a way that suites us personally and takes the responsibility away. I hope that none of us fall for these tricks, but I know there are a majority who will. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
