LOOKING INTO THE FACE OF GOD

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

Most of us take our daily activities for granted in that we think we know what the day is going to bring, but more often than not in my life, I find some unanticipated twist being thrown in my day by God.  It is remarkable to me how much we take for granted that we are in some way in control of this life when we are just one small person in a sea of others with chaos all around us.

When we realize that we are not in control life can get kind of scary for us unless we can trust and believe that we have back-up from the one who created all of us in the first place.  We are taught to seek after God's face, but most often we don't know where to look effectively for Him.  I want to take the time this week to deal with many examples of finding God's face that is all around us at almost any moment we choose to look for Him.  We can see God's face whenever we look into the eyes of any loved one in Christ.  One of the reasons that God has placed His Spirit within each one of us is to assure us that we can look into one another's soul and find Him looking back at us.

More often than not we tend to miss that part of God's plan that He has built within us; that plan to have each of us shine back to one another the light of truth about His love for us.  If we really start to look for that spiritual glow from within each of us we will be able to see it in the eyes of those around us.  In fact, in many cases, until we really start to focus on finding that light in others we can get very discouraged in finding God anywhere.  We often think of God as being silent and quiet, but when we begin to allow God to be those with skin on that are all around us we soon find that God becomes very much alive and active with us.  He then is constantly talking, acting, and asking things of us that we may never have realized before.  We will start to find that God has designed us to be a family for a good reason; it is so we can love one another with His love in front of a world that desperately needs to see what real love can be.

We need to be able to look into the eyes of one another and find Christ.  If we cannot see Christ in the eyes of someone who claims Christ we need to think twice about that relationship because it can spell danger.  We live in a world today when we may need to trust in our fellow Christians in the same ways the first church needed to.  Believe me when I say that the persecution of the church is really on the brink when it comes to the exposure of the evil that has been building up in this world.  We are on the edge of having this same evil take over our country, and if it had not been for the prayers and the commitment of those who in Christ have prayed for deliverance it may have all been over in the last election in 2016.  It is the time that we really are on the watch for these different kinds of evil that would steal our very lives from us. We will be discussing these things this week. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
