ANGELS and Demons/where did they come from?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
When I picture and Angel I almost always picture someone who looks like this; in particular when I think about a Guardian Angel. I think of a strong and intimidating figure that can withstand any enemy that may pop up against me or against God's perfect will for my life. I had never thought of God also making demons that are used for various purposes that only He knows.
As I have prayed and searched scriptures I have have found that angels, as well as demons, have many different jobs that they have been created to do and while some have always been thought of as being good there have been others who have been created to cause problems in certain situations. If we think that we have no real contact with Angels we only need to look at Genesis 18:1-16 to see that they do indeed visit us here and have the ability to get involved with our lives on a very personal basis. They can reveal themselves to us in many forms like that of men Genesis19:1-13, and they can have great authority, Genesis 22:11-12 but demons are also a part of our everyday lives in this world.
I think for the most part many of us are mixed up about Angels and demons and the various roles they both play in this life. Many of us do not realize that God's love for us is so great that He would
allow us to suffer if needed to get us to turn to Him. The reason for that is this life is only the very beginning of the life that He has designed for us. You see both Angels and Demons have pretty big roles to play in our decision-making process as we live this life. While Demons are prevented from having any kind of Divinity according to Leviticus 19:26, they are also protected by His Divine blessing Numbers22:12 and God does use Demons for various purposes like the example that is found in 1 Samuel 16:15.
It isn't a far stretch to realize that both Demons and Angels are bound to be at work in the church and in the Christian experience today. The fact is that God uses the discord that is caused by evil many times to shed light on things that have been hidden from the view of all of the people. When I think of all of the rebellion of the 60's generation I think about the evil that was brought about by the anti-establishment pushes in our country, but also of the many things uncovered by taking a closer look at what was going on in our government as well. God continues to use the evil that we see to uncover the truth about what continues to be hidden today as it is revealed that the pedophile rings and corruption that has been left untouched by good people in our country is coming into the light of truth so that it can be dealt with. Today as well there are many within the church who have been planted by evil intentions. Many of these people have no idea of what they are even doing to disrupt the unity of God's people, and even if they were confronted they would not admit to the truth that is in their hearts. We cannot uproot those weeds without also destroying much of the good grain that grows right beside them, however, we can be made aware of the presence of this disruption through the principalities and the powers that govern them. Good and evil exist together for a reason. It is so that we as followers of Christ can grow stronger in our ability to choose right from wrong with the help and guidance of God's Spirit. Everything that we do comes back to the choices that we make in this life, and what we allow to be our influence and guide. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
