Giving our will to God

Greetings in the name of Jesus

I keep going back to the original writings that God's Spirit had given me on different subjects for a reason. Each of these writings has its own message most of these messages are directed toward the church. That is interesting to me only from the standpoint that Jesus himself spoke mainly to the synagogue leaders, the scribes and Pharisees who were charged with teaching the truth from God's word. The writings that I will share with you today do have an individual message to each of us in that we are responsible and who it is we worship and serve in this life.

"God has given each of us an opportunity to contribute to his victory over death by the giving of the only part of ourselves that he has chosen to not control; that is our own will. God the father has loved us so much that he created us to be controlled only by the choices we make. He willed not to make us as he did the Angels. He willed us to be the creatures we are, and he has given us the power to bring about the end of the hate and doubt by using our own will to do so. He has given us the power to above beyond measure and throughout eternity. The father knows where the victory lies in his people over Satan. So does Satan. We are bound to the realm of physical things by design in the natural man, but we are called toward the victory of God's Spirit by his design of our soul and body. It is by his hand alone we can be divided from this world to be who we were meant to become. It is his word which can divide soul and body, sinew and bone, flesh and spirit. It is our will, which allows his work to be accomplished in us. We are of all creatures the most week in protecting ourselves from Hells fury, yet we are the only ones who can make the difference. We are designed by nature to live here, by the Spirit to reign with God over this world and over the enemy. God will not touch our will to come to him for that which we cannot provide for ourselves. We must will him to take then control over our very faith in his ability to work within us. It is by this method of chain we become more than we are now. We are only powerful if our will belongs to God's Spirit within us. We must continually pray for strength to turn ourselves over to the father in this time so that we can be used by his spirit to become tools worthy of his use. The day will not be hours unless we are used of his spirit to glorify his purpose in us. Let the man woman by their faith then be counted as vessels of God's creation. Let the power of his spirit flow in this stage more forcefully than this world has ever known. Selah father! May you come quickly! Praise God we are in the last days before his victory is complete! Let our will be thy will!"

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we are living within the time frame known as the last days; those days just before Christ returns again. As I read and study the word of God I have become more certain than ever in my life that it is we who must change. In the view of society today we struggle to change ideals, philosophies, and even of faith in the God that has long been held as truth. The interesting thing to me is that we have never proven God not to be real nor have we ever proven truth from God's word to be a lie. It has only been because of our fun in the struggle as men and women to gain control for ourselves then we continue to fight against what we know is God's will for our lives. We know as an example that according to God's word it is we that must be transformed into new creatures by changing our mind and the heart toward God. In the late 1990s God spirit gave me this short writing concerning our being changed into God's children.

"It is by the power of God we are in enabled to be changed by his might into new creatures who are worthy of God's household and free of the bondage of sin. We are called out by his name and planted in his vineyard to bear fruit. We are grafted into the branches of his divine to produce a new and more powerful family. We are given the one thing that cannot be destroyed once it is set right, our own will to love him and serve him out of that love and that trust. We are tools for the master in this age to be used as he sees fit to use us. It is by his calling that we are created to be who we are, and by his power and strength to be used to create a new heaven and earth. The sheer act of our will to belong to the father is the one thing which cannot be taken away by the corrupt mess of this world's Satanic power on earth. We are new creatures through the power that God has given us to be, and to live. We cannot be destroyed or defeated by the enemy unless we allow ourselves to be talked into it. Through the power of God's Spirit we have the tools and the ability to win our freedom from the bondage of sin in this age. We can only do this through the power of Christ who dwells within us. Can we dare to afford not to use it? We are given all things through Christ who strengthens us; all that is needed is our acceptance of the gift. If we by way of his grace toward us are willing to accept his offer to adopt us into his family for all eternity he is faithful to give us the power to accomplish all things through the power of his Holy Spirit in this age. We cannot lose our lives by accepting his favor to us. We cannot find a greater peace or happiness than to have a place in the King's own family. We cannot find a greater inheritance than to have life eternal and to live it more abundantly than we ever thought possible. We are planted in the vineyard. Will we grow? Will we allow others to grow? Our will is our stew control. The gift is God's to give. The price is eternal."

There is no doubt that God is speaking to us today in ways that he never has before. We need desperately to listen to his voice as his spirit tries to direct us and guide us toward her love, and they life that is beyond any thing that we can think or imagine. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
