The unknown gifts of the church faith and works
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
We are constantly receiving gifts from the father. Many times we don't even realize they are gifts sent to us to help us get through that day's activities. Other gifts are given as teaching tools that we might learn more value in this life, or that we might get a few steps closer to learning a lesson that he is set before us. Some of these scams are not well received and we think of them more as a curse than as a gift, the father alone knows what is best for us in the timeframe that we are in in our lives. No matter what else we may feel about the gifts we are given by the father we know that all gifts are given to us by his hand and for his glory in our lives.
No matter what we are given we must be quick to think and praise God for the opportunity to have, you use, or deal with the gift. We are a negative creation, or at least we have become negative creation who looks not on the things that come our way as opportunities, but as another adversarial thing to overcome. We must remember that the father for our growth and for our benefit gives all things to us. We must not confuse the gifts of God with the torment of this world or the contriving of the enemy. The spirit within us will be able to know the truth in these matters when we walk closely with the father. If we put our lives in the center of his for us we will read the true benefit of one these gifts are intended to give to us. God loves and protects us from the harm that some gifts would bring with them, and only the father knows us better than we know ourselves in those circumstances. Lift up your hearts then and be glad that you are so low as to be cared for in this way. Rejoice and give things to the father for all of his gifts to us. It is God who orchestrates the true value we are to become within his spirit. When we can begin to realize the value of his daily gifts to us we can be sent and ready for those gifts we continue to ask for that we desire. You see when we are centered in him we will no longer ask for what we know is not his will.
It is by our faith in Jesus Christ is God's son we are set free to both love and honor God the father. The Holy Spirit can only become a part of our lives by the practice of that faith in our everyday lives. It is said that"faith without works is dead"and I say unto you that works without faith is it is nothing to the father as well. Our own free will allows us to make decisions as to whether or not we will or will not have God's power at work in us and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We have choices as to how close we want to be with father, and what our relationship is to be with the spirit. We are called not just two of visual service, or lipservice to the father, but to an actual love and relationship that we want to have with them. The same is true with our relationship to one another. We can choose to be close or allow someone to come within our circle of friends and loved ones, or we can choose to keep them at an arms length. If we choose the latter we automatically know that if we need something from them we may have a more difficult time of asking and receiving that help then if we had chosen to love and have that person close to us more. That concept goes to marriage is well, when it says why am submit to your husbands, husbands honor your wives, friends do not lie to one another in servants do all things not into a visual service when your masters watching but into the best you can do by honoring God in your service. Why do we love one another? Why are some closer than others? Is it not by your own will to do or say what it is we do and say? It is then that gift of self God wishes from us, for it is not by works alone, nor by faith alone, but by the will in love alone that we come to know and have the relationship we need with God. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
