The frustration of failure

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

I don't think that there's any doubt that everybody that has ever tried to do something in life has known frustration of trying and yet not succeeding in an attempt to accomplish a task or an objective in life. Normally we don't think of failure as a good thing, but God almost always requires a certain amount of failure in our lives in order for us to understand what his purpose is for us. The one thing that God wants from us is to see count for ourselves a unique faith of our personal salvation. Each one of us are called to do and be certain people in Christ, and in order to be that person we also have an individual responsibility in our relationship with God.

This relationship is almost never understood by the world around us or even by the churches we attend; this relationship certainly is not understood by the customs of our times. The people and the things in this world tend to change over and over again throughout time. The one thing that does not change is our need for a relationship with God. While we may get very frustrated because we can't seem to get it right God never seems to get frustrated with us. No matter how hard we may try there is a process of weeding out problems in the garden of our life that the father calls pruning. God does this kind of pruning because he really wants to see who we really are on the inside as he has offered his plan of adoption. He needs to know who is real, and who is merely giving lip service.

I am convinced that we really do not start to work out our salvation and our relationship with God until we become serious enough to seek God's face in every part of our lives. I don't believe that God is so frivolous as to handout the precious gift of adoption to someone who is not serious about his or her walk with him. If we are therefore serious about our relationship with the father how can we not be frustrated by our lack of ability to live here as we know he wants us to? Each one of us has his or her unique needs and desires in Christ Jesus. Each of us has his or her own circumstances with which we must deal. Each one of us works out and read day of our lives their salvation and their relationship with the father alone, for no one can pray for us or live our Christian lives Florence or die to this world for us. No one but us as individuals can step out and become separated from this world. In a way it is good to know that this frustration can be a good thing. Because if we were not frustrated by our walk with God, it might be better to be concerned as to whether we had a relationship with him at all. I suppose that when everything is said and done our feeling frustration is perfectly normal when it comes to our transformation from this physical life to a spiritual perfection.

For those of us that feel that we cannot catch a break we need to understand that failure is as much a part of life is breathing is, and when it comes to failing the standards of God the problem is always 100%. The father is gentle and compassionate with this when we fail him because he knows our weaknesses better than we know ourselves. The one thing that he does require of us as much is asking forgiveness is that we learn each time we fail. Each time we find ourselves falling short of his requests Thomas we must look closer at the reasons why we have failed him to learn how to avoid that same trap again. There is no doubt that if the problem caused us to go astray once the enemy will use it again to cause us to fail unless we counter him by learning how to avoid it. The enemy will not waste his time if he knows we are probably not going to fall for it again, and the father will be pleased that we took the time to work it out. All relationship with God depends much on how well we work with those lessons from failure to failure. The next time you find yourself in a situation like that remember that failure can become a lesson learned for the glory of God if you work at correcting it. I have found where temptations are concerned we must pray right then that the Lord would take it away because we want to do his will, and they will always be lessened to the point that they can be avoided. Each one of us have our own little set of rules that work for us in given situations but to know and understand the reasons for our failures is sometimes as important as not feeling at all. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
