Foundations/unveiling the truth
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
We have talked about things in a very general way when it comes to the things that you face in this life. One of the very first thing's that I want to say here is that we have established that this life is not fair.
Why is it that some people just keep getting all of the brakes on being healthy, and finding all of the good things in this life, I cannot tell you. What I think I can say is that there is a lot more suffering in this world then we know about, and 1 million or so more stories that we would never have guessed are there that other people have gone through or are now suffering with. It certainly does not lessen the one that you were experiencing. I have learned that one of our greatest needs is to ham someone recognize our significance, and that we are important in life. I guess in the final analysis that is one this blog is all about. You see... You need to know just how important you are to God, and to me. What you need to really understand is that your worth and your purpose goes far beyond the life that you have had here so far, and it goes way beyond the reach of this physical world that you see around you today. One of the things that we need to understand about the church is that God designed the church to help you to understand that significance, and to know the purpose for all of us here in this life.
In order to do that and I have to take you on a journey with me, and tell you a story that won't just speak to your intellect but to your heart as well. I say that because I know that you have an ability that is built with in you to know what the real truth is when you hear it spoken to you. On several occasions in your life you have experienced feeling that ability at work within you even though you may have denied it at the time you have known what the truth was when you heard it. When I say things like "you know there is something more to living than what you have already found in life"you should know that it is the truth. While there are may be many people who try to convince you that there is not absolute truth, you know in your heart there really is. You cannot see nature at work without seeing the truth of light and dark, or gravity of what is thrown up in this world will come down again. The absolute truth that when something is hot it will burn or when it is too cold it will freeze cannot be disputed. There is one more absolute truth that we must all deal with, and that is that we are created to be much more than we seem to be, and we are created to be that way by a loving God.
I have seen how very strong many of you are and I have seen the desire and the drive within you not only to live, but to live well. I understand many of those things because I have had to dig very deeply within myself at times as well to not literally give up mentally and physically... The fundamental foundation of truth in Christ is that it is absolute. I have found no guesswork in God's word and so as we start to walk through these foundations that Christ has given us so that we can grow spiritually let us remember that these tools are absolute to God's word. Over the next few blogs we will be looking at several different foundations. Among the first of those things that God has given us our tools that we can use to build upon that foundation with. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
