Foundations/tools to build upon the foundation with

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

When I start to talk about tools that Christ has given us to build up our limes with I am talking about the very roots of what Christ taught us and lived out in front of us as his disciples. It isn't enough for us just to know that Christ was perfect in the spirit or even to understand that what he did was good. His seat that doesn't really give us anything to look at or to say to others that will help someone who is in a situation of need. What were you really need to do is be able to show what Christ really felt about our behavior.

What we need to do is step by step understanding of Christ's teachings so that we can learn, and make them a part of our lives. Most of us will say"I know this or I know that"about Christ when it comes to his teachings what we don't get is the fact that we should be building our faith upon those things that he has shown us which are foundations for our growth as God's children. One way to do that is to begin to look at his life with fresh eyes. TOOL ONE: Christ was moved with compassion. This foundation by itself is something that has been missed in our churches for very long time. Early in Christ's ministry the Scriptures tell us he was moved with compassion for the people because he looked at them like she then had no shepherd Matthew 9:36-38. I don't believe that Christ was trying to call us dumb like sheep, even though most people show those tendencies. I do believe that he was moved with compassion because he saw how lost we were without leadership from God. Christ was so moved that he told his disciples that they should pray that God would send forth laborers into his harvest.

The tool that we need this to develop caring heart for those who do not know the same kind of joy that we know because of the forgiveness of sin in our lives. I really don't think for many of us that we have really grabbed a hold of the idea for ourselves of what it is to be forgiven of sin little loan understanding what the forgiving of sin may mean to someone else's life. The question is what is it like for you to be alive in Christ? Has anything changed for you? You may have just gone through the motions and said the words but there has been no change then in your life, and if that is true you need to continue to seek after God. We simply cannot give away something to someone else that we do not have ourselves. God has given us the precious tool of example in Christ's life. I believe that Jesus saw the need for us to have compassion through example, but we cannot have compassion or understanding, or example without our lives first having been changed. Christ saw the lack of leadership among the people as they were being led by the scribes and Pharisees of his time. He saw a lack of spiritual depth in these people, and he saw hypocritical actions, and he saw a blind allegiance to tradition. TOOL TWO: in Matthew 22:29 when Christ dealt with the leadership of the synagogues he noticed that they made errors in their teachings to others because they did not really know what the Scriptures said, and did not study them with the power of God's Spirit. Much of the same kinds of things happen today in our churches because of doctrines that men and women have put into place to follow instead of staying close to the foundations that Christ has given to us.

It is one thing to study... It is quite another to study allowing the Holy Spirit to do the teaching. What this tells me is that we become useless to the concept that Christ is given to us when we attempt to take any control over from his spirit leading us either as individuals or as a church body. What do we do with all of this doctrine then?
1. We need to compare these doctrines to the teachings that I've been already laid down for us by Christ.
2. If any of these doctrines cause any kind of separation or disunity in the body of Christ between ourselves and other people we should get rid of them.
3. We also need to begin to build up our faith on that firm foundation which is the good news message that God had given Christ to deliver to us.

Christ has told us without any exception that the Sabbath day was made for man not man for the Sabbath. Mark 2:27-28. What does that mean to us then? One of the things it means is that we should be able to worship our father at any time and at any place it's not just a Sunday ritual many of the worship styles and the doctrines and their traditions that many of us have been given in churches have tended to separate us for generations while all along we have been told that they are there to help us worship better. Many of us have given ourselves over to those traditions for generations they're not meant to perform worship for us, it is us who must do the worshiping. What is that is kept you from fellowship with other people who you know are Christians from other churches?" All they don't believe like I do"oh wait a minute... Do you believe in Christ or do you believe in a brand of Christ? That's just a rhetorical question to think about for right now, were going to be getting into some more things this week that are very interesting. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
