NO...NOT EVEN ONE
Greetings in Jesus:
I have noticed lately that there are more and more people turning colder toward one another; fewer people who seek after God in a serious way, and as I read today myself in Romans 3:10-18 i began to realize just how much the word of God has this time and this generation of people firmly in focus. " There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one ; there is no one who understands,no one who seeks God...all have turned away, they have altogether become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves, and their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness...their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the ways of peace they do not know; there is no fear of God before their eyes"
Just in reading these words I could clearly see a focused picture of the world we live in right now. The world is indeed falling away from the principals of God'd laws...we are doing the very things that the words tells we would be doing at this time in history; as this world closes all acceptance of mercy, forgiveness, and love for one another and begins to adopt its own brand of law which means the strong survive and the weak become prey.
Our very principals of life lived in Christ are the opposite of those things which are being displayed in the world right now...but we must understand that it is only beginning; it will get much worse even before people will react to it...and that is human nature. We have long developed the idea of what it means to be a Christian people through love and compassion, but we have never understood the need to be radical about love or about showing compassion. I believe that is what needs to change within the lives of those who call Christ Lord. The time has come for a kind of commitment and life that shows this world that we not only believe in Christ, but that we are a part of the Kingdom of God that has grow to be spiritually mature enough to do battle against the "DOG EAT DOG" world of the physical laws of this world. We see the word radical thrown around all of the time with terrorist...but where are the radical Christian elements that we so desperately need today from those who claim to believe?
These and much more needs to enter into our conversations right now because we are being separated from this world through our faith in Christ. The world itself is pulling away from us; it is only natural for that to happen because of our relationship with Christ.
What makes our life so hard is that we cling to this world as well as to our faith, and that is a miserable way to live. It will come to a point in this world where no one...not even one will support our faith in Christ...we need to cling to our real home and future now...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
