RETHINKING THE BASICS
Greetings in Jesus:
It takes me forever to write a blog with just one hand these days...and since I have been left handed it is a real treat for me to be forced to use mt right hand for everything I do.
There is still good that comes from every trial we go through however, and for me it has been in having to slow down and allow God's Spirit to really deal with issues before I write about them. I have found in part that when i don't have to ponder something for a while the answers I come up with are often different, and sometimes incomplete from those that are made to stay within me and cook for a while. This kind of thinking includes the reasons why God has required our involvement at all in the process of growth spiritually or in bearing any kind of Spiritual fruit. The more we grow in Christ the more we should be able to see the basic value that we have to God is spiritual.
of needing to be taught once again The New Covenant from God made with mankind through the sacrifice of Jesus established the fact that God toward the acceptance of who we have been created to be from our beginning, and not who we find ourselves being as physical creatures. From the beginning of our relationship with God through the Spirit of Christ we hear of the need for transformation of our mind and heart from the old man borne and placed within a clay vessel into a completely new creature with new influences. We read in 2 Corinthians 4:&5: about this very temporary housing for our soul. Such references to clay vessels our temporary dwellings like tents is an indication that the creation of mankind in our present form has a purpose that was never meant to be permanent. God has gone through that step in order to find something out about us without destroying the perfection of the relationship that He has created us for from the start. We know that God's desire for us from the beginning was the complete loving, trusting relationship of a parent to a child which also indicates a desire for our growth to point of being able to eventually receive an inheritance. often we wonder why God seems to care so little about the physical parts of this life until we understand that God see the real value of this life within the contents rather than in the container used to hold us to this world. While we may analyse and study our own take on these basic teachings from Christ I find that all too often we simply neglect to listen to what God is really trying to say in the message of the New Covenant that He has given to us. In a time when should be teachers of God's message to the world of men we find ourselves often in the position of needing to be taught the milk of the word all over again...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
